Twilight Cottage

Lovely clean and well equipped cottage. The only downside for me was the number of emails and texts I received from Anchor Bay before and during my stay. Very detailed which was good but very repetitve

Another stay at the Bay

Lindlee cottage is our 4th stay on the Bay. It’s location is excellent for the beach and other amenities, and if you have children, perfect for them to safely play out and make friends. The property is equipped with everything you need for your stay.

Brilliant summer break

We had a fantastic stay at the Lindlee cottage, great location and the shared lawned area at the back was brilliant for our dog. The cottage had everything you needed, the bed was super comfy and everything was spotlessly clean. Would definitely recommend this cottage, im sure we will be back in the near future!

Lee's Plaice

The property was very comfortable and we appreciate that we were able to extend our stay at short notice. Customer service was prompt and efficient. We would consider a return visit. There were a few minor irritations. Namely, cleanliness. We had to clean a cupboard shelf to store our food, clean the microwave plate and we weren't able to put much in the freezer compartment as it was almost fully iced up. We also had to clean some crockery before use. This is in spite of all the requirements laid out in the contract. Nevertheless we had a relaxing time and the weather was on our side. Thank you to the team who looked after us.

Lovely short break at Lindlee Cottage. It had everything that we needed, in a great position and with easy parking. Dog friendly which was important to us. Well equipped with everything that we could possibly need. Would definitely think about a return visit.

Lovely lodge

We've had a wonderful time in Lindlee cottage. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. On the third day of our stay however we had no TV anymore. We mentioned it at the reception, but we noticed no further action.

Thank you for your lovely review of our property - we are delighted you had a lovely holiday and look forward to welcoming you back soon! We do say in the info we send you have booked privately so reception WILL NOT be able to help you and I note that you DID NOT contact me to ask about this? We did provide you a smart tv and a fire stick to the bedroom and lounge so you could easily watch tv on there?

Weekend stay

Stayed there with my granddaughters aged 12 and 10 for a long weekend. Great place, loved the house and they loved their bedroom.I could have done with some instructions for the oven as I couldn't get any heat until Sunday night. We all loved the pool and they loved running into the sea in bikinis.
Response from VrboOwner on 9 Aug, 2023
Thank you for your review - we are so glad you enjoyed it. We didn't know you couldn't work the oven and I wish you had let us know as we would have resolved this for you. The dial just needs putting to manual and the instructions are above the microwave. Thanks again and safe trip home.

Winter break

What a lovely home. Although the weather was a bit grim it was lovely to come 'home' to a warm and cosy place on a dark evening after a bracing walk. Location perfect, in fact everything was perfect. The arriving and departing information was also absolutely spot on. Thank you.

First time visit

Went here for my 60th birthday 1st July. I have to say that the accommodation was first class IMO. My wife and 2 x small dogs (Pet friendly) spotless. Nice little touches coffee, tea, biscuit pack. Towels and duvets all provided. The cottage is lovely and comfortable. Would I return definitely and would recommend to family and friends.

Short break

Exceptionally well presented, fittings of highest standard. Perfect for four. Small living room. We enjoyed our time here -grandchildren used pool, arcade , tennis court. Played boules outside the cottage. Would definitely return to the bay and this cottage but if more than four of us we would book a 3 bed next time.

October break

Such a beautiful cottage, so cosy and comfortable. Very clean and has everything you need. Lovely view out of the patio doors when sitting on the sofa. It is really good for the dogs, I was able to mop up easily and keep it clean. The door to the lounge helps as they are not allowed upstairs but I could easily keep them in the living room/kitchen area. There's access to a large grass area so could let them out for a quick toilet trip. The cottage is close to the entrance and is easy to find. It's a 5 mins walk to the pub/shop and 10 mins to the beach. Communication with Anthony at Anchor Bay Holidays is really good, they keep you posted and we're available throughout our stay. Thank you very much. We will definitely return. Communication
