This Townhome only 90 miles from NVA located at The Woods Resort which has 2 award winning golf courses, spa, outdoor/indoor pools, hiking trails on Sleepy Creek Wildlife Management Area, indoor/outdoor tennis and a Clubhouse Grill & Pub where you can get bite to eat and drink.
Has central AC/Heat, flat screen TV, internet, and wood fireplace. Also a short distance from Sylvan Lake where there is catch & release fishing.
Dining area has seating for 6 and 4 stools at the bar area. Three bedrooms- Master has a whirlpool tub, three full baths, main living area has a pull out sofa and Foosball Table. Kitchen is fully stocked with all the comforts of home. Upstairs is a washer and dryer.
Outside is a deck overlooking Stony Lick Golf Course, with seating and a charcoal grill.

I did not personally stay at the property however I live nearby and know the neighborhood. The townhouse was lovely and a huge help to have family nearby, but not all crowded into my home. They all seem to enjoy it… No complaints!

Our stay in Hedgesville

This was our 3rd year in a row staying at the same unit. The owner keeps you informed on the unit and does everything he can to make your stay enjoyable. The three bedroom, three bathroom unit was perfect for the three couples The rear deck overlooks a golf course. Looking forward to next year.

June visit

We were at the property in June 2022. There were five adults there to visit friends in West Virginia and to tour the area. The house was in a good location for what we plan to do. There was a glitch with booking the property and we needed to leave one day earlier than we planned because someone had booked slightly before we did. The owner was quick to notify us of that problem. Checking into the house was easy. The house was nice enough but honestly it wasn’t up to our standards. We have stayed at quite a few VRBO’s. There were cobwebs on the lamp the patio door had not been cleaned and was dirty. We were surprised that the house wasn’t stocked better. There was only one garbage bag and when we inquired about more garbage bags we were told that sometimes that were some under the sink that prior tenants had left, if not we could go and buy some at Dollar General. There was one dish towel and one dish cloth to do dishes. There was no Kleenex in the house either. Just a little notice to future tenants that you will need to be prepared to bring what you need for your stay at the house.

Great townhome on a golf course

Keith’s place was such a homey, comfortable place for us to spend part of our holiday break. We enjoyed the rec center a couple of miles away (be sure to reserve the indoor tennis/basketball court in advance and triple-check your reservation; ours, unfortunately, got messed up), played foosball and some of the Wii and board games, and cooked several meals in the amply stocked kitchen. Keith was reachable during our entire 5-night stay. Thank you, Keith!

Property was clean, and cozy. Keith made sure we had lines to accommodate all 7 of us. We arrived and the power was out due to Ida but Keith was on top of it and notified us along the way of it being restored. Tons of amenities...kids had a blast. Wish we were there longer !

Very nice and quiet stay at the Woods golf course. Biked the Western Maryland rail trail (Hancock, MD) one day, golfed another, visited Frederick, MD (1 hr away) another. This is a very scenic area in the country.

Great Time!

Arrived to find a very clean and welcoming home. Keith reached out to us to ensure all was to our liking. Even though some amenities were not available, there was plenty to do with our 2 grandsons. Everything was great. The house was clean and the kitchen well stocked! The wi-fi was great and my teenage boys loved the foosball table and nearby pond for fishing. Buddies golf trip

This place was perfect for our visit. Three of us guys planned a golf trip and played right here at both courses at the Woods. The townhouse space was absolutely perfect and comfortable in size. Place was very clean and welcoming. The deck in the back was great for just enjoying the nice weather. The area was about 35 mins from CharlesTown for the gambling types. I’d recommend bringing or stopping for groceries beforehand since the nearest one wasn’t conveniently close. Thanks to Keith for being a great host with a great place. Will definitely plan on being back.
