Named after the vessel that carried the co-founder’s father from Jamaica to Southampton in the 1950s, the Begoña Cliff Hotel is an independent boutique venue, nestled in the cliffs of Negril’s West End, looking out to the Caribbean Sea. It’s owners, husband-and-wife duo Errol Hewitt and Yvonne McKenley-Hewitt, share their journey to the recent launch.

Why they chose this property

We went to view this property one evening but we couldn’t see much. We returned the following day to this phenomenal sight: a crumbling guest house, on the cliff edge, overlooking the Caribbean Sea awash in glorious sunlight. We could see beyond the old guest house into the lands potential, It was a no brainer. We agreed to buy it there and then.

What makes this property unique

We offer a jazzy bar, cliffside dining, a pool, Snorkeling and an events pavilion. Our accommodations feature modern amenities such as fast mesh Wi-Fi, smart technology through the use of Apple TV and keyless door entry as well as air-conditions and fans. All our rooms feature a balcony with a waterfront view or an ocean view.
