Quinta do Souto Walk is a project of agritourism implemented in Marco de Canaveses county in Quires Vila Boa in October 2012. Right in the country setting, the farm offers the ideal opportunity for those wishing to escape the hurly burly, and enjoy a simple and integrated life in nature while enjoying all the comfort and luxury of a modern home. The wine tourism lovers will find this the ideal place to explore and participate in wine production. Old houses recovered, keeps all the romanticism of the field and invite you to a dream holiday in the rural tourism.
The farm has a vineyard of 5 hectares in full operation since about 1900, always belongs to the same family. The two cottages that served the fifth, Casa da Calçada and the House of Souto, were recovered for tourist use, enjoying currently various equipment for recreation such as pool, table football and ping pong table, and still observatory of nature. These houses are situated around the vineyard, complemented with a pine forest and a river within the farm perimeter. A panoramic path and crosses the country Thursday and joins the two houses, allowing a simple and pleasant access to the facilities shared by them, such as the threshing floor and the old eaves.
The Casa da Calçada emerged from a recovery in 2012 made the old houses existing in the fifth. The current house retains its old building, with stone walls and the inner courtyard, integrated into a modern structure for the convenience of residents. The house is set in the countryside, in quiet rural surroundings, in front of a vibrant and modern vineyard with about 5 acres and surrounded the area's own flora, such as walnut, sycamore trees, chestnut and Carvalhas.
The house and the pool can admire a great view over the vineyard and the valley to the mountains on the other side of the river.
Located in northern Portugal, the fifth is dedicated to rural tourism, wine tourism and agritourism. The visitor enjoys a relaxing holiday in an agricultural environment, where you can play the characteristics tasks of a farmhouse in full operation. You can still enjoy the prime location of the farm and its proximity to interesting cities in the north of Portugal, to make a tourist tour of the region.
