The property was very clean and well presented - the second bedroom a bit small. Bathroom and loo modern. Several small steps up and down to every room could be a trip hazard in some circumstances. The kitchen had most utensils you'd need, but the freezer compartment of the fridge needed defrosting. The washing up basin plug was broken - quickly rectified after contacting the lease company. The house smelt a bit musty and damp. We knew the location was near to the pub and fish and chip shop, not a problem for us, a little noise as could be expected, but not an issue for us. We didn't have any difficulties parking outside the property. Only a very short walk to the sea.
Several previous reviews mention difficulties with a sticking front door. This was much more than a sticky door which needed coaxing. We complained about it and someone came straightway to look at it - he said nothing could be done about it - he himself could not open and close it with any ease. We were worried about breaking the lock or door straining it to get in. We used the back door entrance which made packing the car rather more of a chore.
Advice: arrive early in case you have a problem with the front door, ask for the keys NOT to be left in the kitchen door and the back gate unlocked so that you can use that instead.
Plus side - complaints quickly acted upon.
