A wonderful detached cottage in a quiet location on the very outskirts of Halifax and a perfect base to explore beautiful West Yorkshire.. 1 step to entrance.

Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Front garden with garden furniture. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. The Coach House Halifax is a beautifully cosy, detached cottage that can be found in a quiet location just over a mile from the very centre of Calderdale’s largest town Halifax. Offering everything needed to make your stay a comfortable and enjoyable one, it makes the most perfect base for exploring the wonders of both Halifax and West Yorkshire. Halifax itself is known for its stunning Victorian architecture and strong industrial heritage. It’s home to the unique Piece Hall which is a mere mile away and houses a wonderful selection of shops, bars, restaurants and exhibits onsite. Halifax Minster is also just over a mile, as are ample markets, independent and high street shops, theatres and great places to eat and drink.
For any fans of ‘Gentleman Jack’, Grade II Listed Shibden Hall can be reached in a 5 minute drive and is surrounded by the stunning restored gardens and estate that all form part of Shibden Park. Ideally placed for exploring all the area has to offer, outdoor enthusiasts can sightsee the local countryside which is important to the Brontë heritage, and keen road cyclists will find excellent circular routes directly from the front door. Ogden Water Country Park and artsy Hebden Bridge are around a 15 minute drive and Haworth around half and hour. Skipton and the Yorkshire Dales National Park can be reached in around an hour and Halifax train station is a 20 minute walk, and offers a direct service to the bright lights and city centre shopping of both Leeds and Manchester.
