Air conditioning wouldn't work

I was excited about staying at this apartment. The unit itself and the location was fine. The problem was that the air conditioning didn't work the entire time we were there. They stated in the description that it was an airconditioned unit. It was pretty much impossible to reach anyone that could actually solve the problem. The first two nights, it was over 80 degrees inside the unit at night. We ended up staying in the Marriott for the first two nights which was very costly since we need two rooms. They sent over a repair guy who said they fixed it, but it never was. Fortunately, the temperature dropped about 15 degrees which allowed us to stay the last two night there. After a ton of back and forth via email (which was the only way to talk to management), they refunded us one of the two nights. If they were fair, they would have refunded us both.

The condo is very clean and nicely furnished. The beds were also comfortable. The hot water in both showers makes a loud, shrill noise. We would like to have been able to adjust the air conditioner as it was quite warm on the 3rd floor and the set temperature at 72.5 was warm especially at night. The area has a lot of small restaurants nearby. The instructions for how to operate the washing machine/dryer combination were not quite clear so more details would be helpful. Overall, the condo provided a comfortable stay for our 3-day stay in Madrid.

Room was clean but there was too much dust under the furniture. The instructions on how to use the washer are not clear enough. Other than that Shops are nearby and its a family friendly street.

The appartment is completly new and clean. You can park on the street freely. If we comeback to Madrid, we will book the same appartment.
