Beautiful little cottage

Lovely little cottage -very cozy. Had lots going for it. Received fresh eggs, bread, butter and jam which was appreciated for hungry travelers. Would stay again 😌

Spadgers mini break

Lovely stay in a very cosy little cottage with a nice hamper on arrival. Well located for dog walks and a lovely variety of wildlife in the back garden.

idyllic

lovely cottage for a best-friends walking and wine weekend! We had such a lovely time sat in front of the fire, and a particularly competitive game of pick up sticks! Beautiful early morning bird watching in the garden too.

Perfect cosy little cottage

Everything about Spadgers is perfect for a romantic retreat. It is full of character whilst being extremely comfortable. Walking distance to the High Street and local pubs with country walk footpaths right out the back of the garden. But our absolute favourite was sitting in front of the log fire after cooking dinner in the well equipped kitchen and snuggling down watching films for the evening. Perfect!

Perfect cottage

Although small (basically a two-up, two down), this cottage is remarkably well-equipped and roomy - the owners have done incredibly well at fitting it out. Beds are comfortable, shower has good pressure and plenty of hot water and the heating, when required, is simple to use and effective. The cottage has a beautiful garden with plenty of birds and we even saw two young rabbits! There is plenty to do in the area and Long Melford itself seemed to be quite a vibrant and active community. Had a really nice, chilled time in this lovely, spotlessly clean little cottage.
