Cortijo Granadas Órgiva by Ruralidays

Villa situated close to the town of Orgiva, in the region of Alpujarra Granadina, in the province of Granada, Andalucia.

Shrouded in a romantic aura, this holiday home is completely private, and the most successful way of enjoying the breathtaking views of the Sierra Nevada is by turning off your swatch and letting yourself get lost in the sweet and constant dance between the sun and the moon.

In this holiday villa, all the facilities will be at your disposal, such as the air-con in the double-bedded bedroom in which you will dream the sweetest dreams. An extra bed is available upon request, only for a child up to 10 years old.

A vast fireplace-equipped dining-living room and the completely equipped open kitchen will make you want never to leave this heaven again. Last but not least, a big bathroom with a shower where relaxing after a day spent exploring the surroundings of this spectacular rural house.

Despite the interior of the house being extremely cosy, you will soon discover that the very best is yet to come since the outside area is everything you could ask for. You can enjoy the first coffee of the morning on the charming terrace while breathing Alpujarra’s pure and fresh air. You will be surrounded by the fabulous scents of lavender, jasmine, olive trees as well as other varieties of plants and flowers that live in the vast garden. Or you can bronze your skin in the private swimming pool while listening to the birds singing.

During your stay, you could bring your pets with you and make them enjoy the house. Please, note that you will be charged an extra fee of € 50 for extra cleaning if you bring 1 or 2 pets.

You will get to the house through a paved access, where you can leave your car, right inside the estate.

This is real Spain, English is not widely spoken which ensures you have the real of experience of this wonderful country. In the Sierra Nevada mountains, away from the hustle and bustle. A really lovely villa situated in a large olive grove with a large spool.

Simply wonderful!

The cottage is everything you want for a quiet stay in a beautiful location. The property is private and has a magic view over the mountains. Perfect place from which to explore the White Villages of the region or just relax and enjoy the quiet.

Lovely getaway

Immaculately clean and perfectly sized house for 2 people to enjoy rural Spain in comfort. We received plenty of communication from the rental company in English to the day of the trip. Both the company and the host were very accommodating when our flights changed and new arrangements have to be made. The host picked us up in town and showed us the way to the house - the house is close to town but off the beaten path. Part of the road was packed gravel - we still managed to get in and out of the property on road bikes! The pool was very clean and not chlorinated which was really nice. Pomegranate, oranges and olives grow in the garden. There 2 large grocery stores in town at a short driving distance. Definitely eat at Restaurante Tetería Baraka! All the basics were available in the house: toilet paper, shampoo, oil and coffee on kitchen… detergent for the washing machine. The host speaks Spanish only (we used a translator app) Highly recommended!

Schönes kleines Haus

Das kleine Haus ist für 2 Personen groß genug. Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Unsere Koffer konnten wir leider nirgends unterbringen, darum standen sie im Wohnzimmer. Da wir meistens draußen waren, war das aber kein Problem. Zwei Tassen mehr oder Salatschälchen wären nicht schlecht gewesen. Miguel hat uns nach einer Woche frische Handtücher und Bettwäsche gebracht. Der Garten mit Pool und Terrasse ist toll zum Entspannen. Wir hatten hier zwölf schöne Tage.

Una casa muy bien cuidada y con unos detalles magníficos. Amplio terreno lleno de árboles donde las mascotas disfrutan. La zona de la piscina y barbacoa es lo mejor para pasar los días en verano. Tiene muchísima intimidad al estar la parcela totalmente cerrada. Al caer la tarde tumbarse en la cama balinesa escuchando solo los pajaros es un disfrute para los oidos!!!! El anfitrión es super amable! Todo es perfecto!!! Repetiremos sin duda!!!!

Wir reisen schon seit vielen Jahren immer wieder nach Andalusien. Dabei wechseln wir immer zwischen La Herradura (mehr Strand) und Orgiva (mehr Wandern). Dieses Jahr wollten wir uns etwas mehr entspannen und Zeit für uns haben. Die Abgeschiedenheit, Ruhe, das balinesische Bett und der großen Pool war wirklich ein absoluter Traum. Es ist wirklich eine Oase der Entspannung. Klar, der Weg zum Objekt ist spanisch aber dafür hört einen niemand, es stört einen niemand und es sieht einen niemand. :) Man kann sich ganz frei entfalten. Beim schwimmen im Pool, sonnen und nächtlichen Sternegucken im balinesischen Bett. Es war ein Traum! Dazu kommt das sehr liebevoll eingerichtete Haus, was alles bietet was man braucht und der sehr sympathischen Vermieter. Wir sind begeistert und kommen sicher mal wieder!

Dit was onze 2e keer in dit huis , vorige keer in november en toen waren we al enthousiast en nu we ook echt van de tuin en het zwembad konden genieten was helemaal fantastisch. De eigenaar reageert snel en toen we melden dat het wasrek ontbrak en het koffiezetapparaat lekte , stond hij de volgende dag al op de stoep met de nieuwe spullen . Als je rust en privacy wilt en wilt genieten van de vogels is de tuin , twijfel niet ! Ook is het een prachtige wandel omgeving, dat was ivm de warmte soms een uitdaging

The villa was in a great location, very private with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. the pool enjoyed sunshine for the majority of the day and was situated in very spacious grounds without being overlooked. The villa gave a feeling of good security. The villa had good quality fixtures and fittings and was well appointed. Miguel was very helpful and responsive to our requests.

This cortijo was perfect for the two of us. Cortijo means county house, and country is where it is situated, in the middle of an olive grove. It is very private...you can not see another house from the large, walled garden, which has good views of the Sierra Nevada and Sierra de Lújar. It is one mile by one lane country road to Órgiva, just right for a stroll home after a very nice meal in one of Órgiva's quite good restaurants or bars. Driving this road requires attention, as meeting another car involves some maneuvering to find a spot where two vehicles can pass. Miguel, the owner, is very attentive and can be reached easily by text message or email. Órgiva does not feel very touristy, and by comparison to any of the beach communities, is not. There are a number of homes in the area owned by northern Europeans. There is a thriving hippie community. It is a good base if you want to explore the Sierra Nevada, Las Alpujarras, and the Sierra de la Contraviesa. Miguel's cortijo is great for people who desire a quiet time in a quiet town with good access to outdoor activity.

Villa ideal for 2 people who seek tranquillity in a lovely rural spot, some may find roads / track to villa challenging, 30 minute walk to village for the reasonably fit and able. we thoroughly enjoyed stress free relaxing location within a secure environment. Lovely pool and BBQ. Could have been improved by more towels and bedding change at one week point.

A fantastic private, secluded cortijo on the outskirts of Orgiva. We really enjoyed our stay, took a trip up to Capileira, went walking and made full use of the pool and facilities. A great peaceful week stay all in all! Orgiva is not the nicest town in the world but has a certain charm about it. If you head up into the villages in the mountains they are really beautiful. The villa is away from everything and is situated just off a nice local walking trail. We really loved it and would definitely go back!

The Cortijo is a lovely little cottage set in a charming olive grove surrounded by views of the hills and mountains. It has a wonderfully large and clean swimming pool with a fabulous day bed right next to it where one can escape the scorching heat of the day if you need to (which we did). The Cortijo itself had everything one needed to maintain a high degree of self-sufficiency and self-catering. Miguel was kind caring and considerate. And we would not hesitate to book another stay at this little Alpajurrras gem.

Kwamen eerder aan, dit was geen probleem, konden gewoon rond 2 uur het huisje in, voor de winter niet een ideaal huisje omdat het niet goed te verwarmen is. Huisje is wel mooi gelegen buiten het dorp op een afgesloten erf, is een goede basis om dingen te ondernemen in de omgeving.

Het vakantiehuis ligt op een zeer rustige plek vlakbij Orgiva in een prachtige omgeving tussen de olijf- en sinaasappelbomen en is in zijn geheel ommuurt met een afsluitbaar hek als toegang. In en om het huis is alles aanwezig wat nodig is voor een heerlijke vakantie. De eigenaar is zeer vriendelijk en kwam ons ophalen op de afgesproken locatie en tijdstip. We hebben er een heerlijke tijd gehad! Granada, de Sierra Nevada en het strand allen op ongeveer drie kwartier rijden. Een plek om zeker nog eens terug te komen.

Todo perfecto, es una casa grande, limpia, con todo lo necesario para pasar una estancia perfecta, la parcela muy amplia y cuidada, la piscina perfecta, el agua de la piscina buenísima, el entorno muy agradable, el pueblo muy cerca y con multitud de servicios, la playa cerca, en coche, también muy agradable, con muchos sitios, y muy buenos, para comer...No se puede pedir más! Lo hemos pasado fenomenal y nos ha dado mucha pena tener que irnos. En cuanto podamos repetimos!!!!

Voici notre expérience après 5 semaines: Maison à l'écart et donc très au calme (hormis les chiens qui parfois font la fête la nuit). La maison est très agréable: cuisine très bien équipée, musique dans toute les pièces, clim dans la chambre, literie impeccable (nous avons dormi comme des bébés)... Ce fut un bonheur de prendre chaque repas sur la terrasse ombragée. Quand à la piscine... pfiou! un régale (sauf les guêpes qui étaient très nombreuses et pénibles)! Immense, très bien entretenue par les propriétaires... nous avons été bien tristes de la quitter! Quand au bbq: immense aussi, très agréable avec le bar devant...
