Very quirky, beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable home from home. Spotlessly clean, friendly neighbourhood, and an amazing community shop with fantastic staff. Parking was plentiful, either directly outside Stroan or in the free car park down Wylie Brae. Excellent location with lots to do. Walks from the cottage were easy to navigate to, which was great for our German Shepherd Bear.

The property is very well-appointed and comfortable. The location is a bit more remote than we anticipated and a car is a necessity.Very limited facilities in the village although the community shop had a wide and comprehensive stock.

Highly recommended

Stroan is a lovely house with really everything you could ask for. The setting is beautiful, we ran out of time to do and visit all we had planned for. We have to come back one day!

New Galloway

Great property from which to explore Dumfries & Galloway. Some local walks in the village by the river, play park, dog walking area, community shop and arts centre. I'd recommend 👌
