Thank you for your five star review of your stay at Hill Cottage, great to hear you had a lovely holiday at Hill Cottage. We hope we can help you again with your future bookings.
The property is clean and well equipped with wonderful views over towards the Isle of Harris in the distance. We liked the somewhat out of the way location and it made exploring north and central Skye straightforward. The hosts were friendly and very proactive in advising and welcoming us. We’d highly recommend this property.

Thank you for your lovely comments, however we are a little confused by the one star grading as the two do not seem to relate to each other and we are not aware of any issues during your stay.
Very nice, everything we needed. Quiet and peaceful.

This was the best accommodations of our 12 day trip. Highly recommend. Well equipped. Longer curtain on hall bath or door may help with long term maintenance. Fan over hob was loud. Loved this place.

Many thanks for your great review. Delighted that you had a lovely holiday.
Hill Cottage was exactly what we were hoping for on Skye. It is well situated for our excursions around the Trotternish peninsula. We wanted to stay longer just to appreciate the views. If we get the chance to come back to Skye, we will definitely stay here again.

This house is well taken care of and has an amazing view over the bay. We went through some incredibly windy nights and the house was quiet and toasty. Would love to spend more time in this area of Skye.

A newer property with excellent construction and a beautiful location our family enjoyed the Hill Cottage enormously. The pictures are accurate and everything was as expected and in some cases even better. A strong recommend for a group of four or less for a holiday on The Isle of Skye!
We enjoyed our stay in late May 2022 in this clean and tidy private cottage, which has nice views across the lochs. Kitchen and property in general had all that we needed. The weather did not cooperate much during our holiday, but the cottage kept us warm and dry. Owners were helpful with restaurant suggestions and happy to give other advice.

Thank you for your great review and recommendation. We are delighted that you had a wonderful holiday.
This cottage is a magical place with ever-changing views of the lake. The wood floors and large rooms are beautiful. The kitchen is quite large and well-equipped. The place is immaculately cleaned. I appreciate it having a washing machine, too. You won’t want to leave!
My husband and I stayed here for three nights. Everything was absolutely perfect! The location is really nice and quiet and the property is pristine. The views are amazing. I cooked two of our three nights. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The last night we were there it was rainy and cold. The log burner was a welcome addition. Would absolutely recommend.
