It is a small miner’s cottage and has everything you need in a jumping off point to experience the north of Wales. Initial communication was a bit wonky. We booked the house via VRBO and expected the communication to be through that app. However, we had to email the owner directly. Our booking was also marked pending rather than booked, we assume because of this, so it was unclear whether or not the placed had been booked. Being told that we had to email the owner directly on the booking website would have eliminated this confusion. Also, we needed to provide our own towels which was not mentioned on the booking. For most people this probably wouldn’t have been as issue because the owner mentioned it in the email with the other check in instructions. However, we had already been traveling for two weeks so luckily, we had packed our own towels for previously planned beach days. A minor complaint but one that could be easily avoided by having it noted on the initial booking site. Aside from that, we enjoyed the space and the quiet evenings by the fire after days out exploring.
