Wonderful house. Very well equipped and extremely comfortable. Beautiful grounds and fantastic hot tub. Owners are very responsive and easy to communicate with. Our favorite house for a long weekend of relaxation.
The property is well manicured and stocked with all that you will need for a relaxing getaway. Spacious accommodations, very clean, and super comfortable. Excellent rating!
What a slice of heaven! We chose this location and home to have a restful getaway and we nailed it! Between the peaceful sounds of nature, the wildlife and the cozy cabin, we truly enjoyed our time. The owners clearly care about this property and have kept it so clean. Would highly recommend!
We had a great time and stayed at the cabin more than we had planned. We were enjoying fishing in the pond every morning while having our coffee and every evening before winding down in the hot tub. The bongo drums were a pleasant surprise. The house was equipped with everything you could possibly need. It was a wonderful time and I’m sure we would stay here again.
It’s exactly how described!!
Very clean, very well stocked we loved everything about this cabin!!!
Would definitely recommend it and we will definitely come back❤️
Beautiful home, very cozy, excellent for winter time, although I’m sure just as good year round. Beautiful view in the back, especially with the snow covered trees. Everything we were looking for for our get away.
This was a very clean, comfortable place to relax for a few days, with lots of amenities both indoors and out, and helpful homeowners. We would definitely return.
We all loved it! Our friends are from Rome so a long cabin on a pond in the woods is a welcome novelty. It was comfortable, roomy and quiet. Great kitchen for making pasta. Great dining room for sharing food and wine. Thank you!
Fantastic cabin with lots to do or not do and just relax. House had everything as advertised and the property is very relaxing. Just what we wanted for a great getaway weekend from the city!
My wife and I are very happy with our stay at the Getaway. The amenities made the house very comfortable and is very family friendly.
We had a wonderful time and hope to return soon!
Our second stay here was just as enjoyable as our first. There's a lovely pond for swimming, hot tub, sauna and a very well equipped kitchen. The owners are nearby, and very helpful. We would definitely go again!
A wonderful Property to visit, 98% total privacy, No noisy neighbors, Basically no sounds at all aside from the surrounding nature and even then it was still quiet. Felt at home, But more of a dream home then the home we are used to.
What a great property/location - private, clean, relaxing, and feels like a home. The sauna and hot tub looked very new and were spotless. Communicating with Julie and Bill was as easy as can be.

This cabin is absolutely beautiful. We had a wonderful stay. We enjoyed kayaking on the pond, sitting by the fire, seeing the local sites, and my daughter loved the swing set. The owners are extremely helpful and respond back to any questions within minutes. We highly recommend this property!

You are welcome back anytime!

Julie was helpful, kind and available if we needed. The property was quiet, with some lovely, easy trails to enjoy the outdoors, and equally cozy indoors to relax by the fire. Although you don't need to leave the property, there is plenty to see nearby! We loved our time there!

About the host
Hosted by Julie & Bill Rozar
After raising our family in Brooklyn, we moved to our weekend home in Smallwood NY and have loved living in Sullivan County since Feb 2016. In fact, we loved it so much we bought a second home nearby in March 2016 and lovingly upgraded it to enjoy with friends and share as a vacation rental. We are fortunate to be able to work from home so we are available when you need us. Looking forward to meeting you! -- Julie and Bill
