This beautifully appointed Sunriver home provides the perfect retreat for up to 8 guests. A short walk from the scenic Deschutes River, 4 Virginia Rail is nestled among the trees along a quiet cul de sac, offering a convenient location in the heart of Sunriver with lots of privacy. A unique ski lift bench offers a great place to relax on the front porch. Step inside to find the ideal layout for one or two families, including a spacious great room, spotless kitchen, large dining table, three comfortable bedrooms (including a private suite upstairs), two full bathrooms and a large back deck. A floor-to-vaulted-ceiling river rock fireplace welcomes you into the living room. Sit back and enjoy the big game on the flat screen TV, or cuddle up for movie night alongside the wood burning fireplace. The adjacent kitchen is stocked with all the cookware and utensils needed to host a dinner-party, while the spacious granite countertops, gas stove, and stainless appliances will make meal prep a breeze. Enjoy your meals inside at the kitchen bar or large dining table, or head outside; the fabulous back deck is where you will want to be all summer long. A gas BBQ, patio and lounge seating, and a private hot tub await your enjoyment! 

The two guest bedrooms are found on the main floor - a pillow top Queen bed appoints one room and two sets of Bunk beds accommodate up to 4 kids in the other. These rooms each have a flat-screen TV and a large window to let in natural sunlight. A guest bathroom with granite countertops and a tub/shower combination is located nearby. This home has an on-demand tankless water heater, so there are always hot showers for everyone. The upstairs suite features vaulted, tongue and groove ceilings, a pillow top King bed, flat screen TV and en suite bathroom, and nicely updated with granite countertops and a tub/shower combination. A large patio slider opens off the ensuite bedroom onto a large, private deck; the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee. 

The owner of 4 Virginia Rail has thoughtfully provided numerous amenities to make your stay here the very best - 4 blue ray players, free Wi-Fi, Keurig machine (bring pods!), ping pong table, pac-n-play, high chair, baby gate, numerous bikes and even a kennel for your 4-legged friend, just to name a few. When you are ready to get out and explore, head off on the nearby trail along the Deschutes River! Fun at Fort Rock Park, acres of green fairways at the 2 award-winning Sunriver golf courses, horseback riding, and lazy summertime floats along the Deschutes River are all accessible within a few miles of this Sunriver vacation rental.

Fall Family Trip

We really enjoyed our stay. The house had plenty of space for a family and we enjoyed the ping pong table, hot tub, corn hole, and chair lift seats. Our favorite aspect of the house was its proximity to the river and the trails alongside it. We have stayed in other Sunriver properties and this has been our favorite and we would definitely return!

This is a beautiful home. Very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you would need. It is a short walk to the river. The deer will visit you. We enjoyed sitting in the backyard and even the front porch. We were there when the fires were burning in Sisters. The mosquitoes are annoying but we got spray to help with that. The SHARC pool area was so fun for grandsons. The bike paths along the river makes it easy to walk. You will not regret this house.

We arrived on Tuesday, July 23 in the evening. Everything was wonderful. We loved the decor, the cleanliness, the access to the bicycles, ping pong table, hot tub, and all the kitchen amenities and supplies. The beds were very comfortable and the layout of the home worked very well for us. Thank you for your attention to detail. We would love to come back in the future!

The house was spacious, clean and had everything you could need. Decks were great. Location to river and trails is ideal. Very comfortable and the private master bdrm upstairs was gorgeous and comfortable. Only negative was that we didn’t love the strict 5pm check in and 10 am checkout but that was as advertised, just be aware there may not be early check ins or late check outs accommodated. Overall great experience

What a wonderful place in every way!

I think this may be the best place we have ever rented! Wonderfully and tastefully decorated, super clean, quiet neighborhood, beds more comfy than home, kitchen very well stocked, attention to detail in every way. A short walk to the river bike path. Bikes and a ping pong table. The owners of this property obviously care about it. We loved it! We will return! The only very minor thing we might change was making the wattage of the can lights in the kitchen just a bit brighter, but we just turned the dining lights on bright and it was fine.

Great family getaway

Fantastic spot for all 3 generations. Our teenagers were thrilled to take off on the bikes to explore. Our family tends to “eat in” even while away, so it was great to have a fully functional kitchen and a well-stocked grocery store nearby. Despite serious summer heat, the house cooled off nicely in the evening and we all enjoyed our stay. Thanks for a great stay!
