Wish Willy Riverview Cabana

Private, Secure, Macal Riverfront guest Cabana with small kitchen. Fenced property with automatic gate opener and off street parking. WiFi, Cable TV, A/C, Hot and cold water in shower. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and the large market in San Igancio.

Our place is close to the city center, great views, restaurants and dining, art and culture, and parks. You’ll love our place because of the views, the location, and privacy. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.

Close to everything. Easy access to taxis and buses. Walking distance to downtown and the market (10 minutes).

Beautiful views of downtown San Ignacio and the rain forest. Property sits high above the river. There is a covered picnic table area with a plug in and light. Laundry facilities as well as filtered water onsite. No need to buy bottled water!!

Owners live on this private property and we are not a public resort or hotel.

Check in time is anywhere between 12-6 pm. Just give us a smaller window of arrival so we can be here to welcome you. And checkout is 11 am, but we are very flexible. If you need special arrangements we will do everything possible to accommodate you.

Easy access to tours, transportation, restaurants, banks, churches, stores. We will book any tours you want with our trusted local tour company. So many options and so many things to do. So many great restaurants/bars. Ask us and we can recommend some of our favorites.

Off street parking is included. Public transportation and taxis are plentiful. We are two blocks off the George Price Highway in Santa Elena. Most tour companies will pick you up at our gate.

We have filtered water on site, no need to buy water!!
We also have laundry facilities on property for you to use for a small fee.

Julie and Gary were vwry welcoming and accomodating hosts! Julie gave us a quick tour of the town and gave us great recommendations for dining and excursions. The loxlcation was great and enjoyed the dog greetings too! Sunset view was amazing!

Julie and Gary were excellent hosts. They provided wonderful concierge service. From arranging day adventures to recommending wonderful restaurants, they made everything easy and pleasurable. A short walk from town was nice after a meal or visit to the town marketplace.

Beautiful location

Julie and Gary are amazing hosts. Great hospitality, lots of information and help with the local venues. Looking over the river and the deck area was great for watching birds. We would definitely like to return when we get back to Belize.

Best stay in the area!

Such a delight! We are on a mission trip with lots of tools in our vehicle. The gated parking is what drew our attention. Our Hosts were wonderful, and we felt like family from the start. Walking into town was a treat.

Wish Willy Wanderingd

This delightful spot is perched on a bank with a lovely overlook of the Macal River. The hosts are wonderful and love sharing their deck and Riverview area with their guests. Both Julie and Gary bend over backwards to help their quests have as lovely a stay in the San Ignacio area as oossible. I highly recommend this Vrbo property.

Quaint vacation rental with lovely owners

Our stay (husband and I) overall was a great one. The best part was the owners - Julie was such a joy to chat with and always eager to be helpful and friendly. The location was very close to many restaurants, supermarkets - very central to Santa Elena and San Ignacio both. We felt extremely safe while staying at this property the entire time. The vacation rental is a bit dated but it suited our needs just fine other than the bed. The only reason I give the rental 4 stars instead of 5 is because the bed mattress and pillows were very uncomfortable and made it difficult for us to get some quality sleep. Overall would recommend the property, though, and would return if the sleeping situation were improved!
