Charming Private Casita in the heart of Albuquerque's Historic Old Town, with all the charm and character you would expect in Old Town. Two minute walk to the central plaza galleries and shops. 20+ restaurants and cafes within a half mile, less than a 5 minute stroll to most. The following Albuquerque museums are all less than 400 yards away: Albuquerque Museum of Art, Museum of Natural History, and Explora Science Center (which is interactive and AMAZING for kiddos too)! The location of this comfy cozy romantic casita is perfect for any visit to Albuquerque, especially if you prefer not to drive everywhere. Enjoy evening/weekend events and concerts all year round, but especially summer, Balloon Fiesta, and Christmas. Christmas in Old Town is an experience everyone should have at least once in their lives! Bike to the Zoo or the Rio Grande River Bosque Trail, where you can ride along the river without ever crossing traffic for 20+ miles. Your host Lily, who lives in the main house, will make you feel totally welcome and at home, but also give you privacy, as if you have your own little resort retreat, right in the middle of old town. This separate private Casita is a 400 sqft studio with a queen bed, cable tv and internet, kitchenette with microwave and fridge, and a private bathroom with a pristine, beautiful new shower. There is a cute yard and patio with string lights and firepit to enjoy our wonderful year round climate! Book it now!

Super cute Casita, and literally a two block walk to the "Old Town" area. There was a great bakery there for breakfast, and multiple restaurants for lunch/dinner options. The host provided plenty of bottled water, Starbucks coffee k-cups, and a really comfy queen size bed. Love it, and will definitely stay there again.

Didn’t use the hot tub. Courtyard was under construction and dirty. It was close to old town and the park for our dog which made it easy to get to. Room was clean and bed was comfortable it was sufficient for our 2 day stay.

This was the cleanest VRBO property! Perfect size in a great neighborhood. It is really a lovely casita. The only thing I would change is the bed pillows. They are hard as a rock. I will look to stay there again on my next trip to Albuquerque.

The location was amazing. The hot tub was a nice touch. The casita needs a little TLC, like a new shower head and a new kitchen cooking burner (which we bought a new one and left it there).It was a decent place to stay for a couple days.

Lilly and David were over the top good hosts. When we had a small issue with plumbing, it was handled by the next day, even though it was a weekend right before Christmas. It was a sweet location with such easy walking access to Old Town. So nice not to have to drive and park.

I truly enjoyed my time in the Patio Casita. There are three casitas total, so you will be sharing the patio with neighbors. We had a lovely fire in the patio pit and enjoyed the sounds of birds and sounds of the city. It's around the block from Old Town, the walk takes less than five minutes. The Range Cafe is right down the road on Rio Grande Blvd (I think); we found it by accident. Really delicious authentic food. I recommend breakfast - green chile and fresh garlic.The casita had easy access to the freeways I-40 and I-25, the major crossroads in the area. It took about 15 minutes to get back to the airport driving at 6:00 AM. Definitely recommend renting a vehicle and not relying on a Lyft or Uber because the city is very spread out. You can park right on the street in front of the house. There is also a laundry room next to the Patio Casita which is convenient. My favorite part was the charming room, it's quite airy and clean, with many accoutrements. I sincerely loved my time here and will absolutely stay again if I get the chance.
