Spacious Character Barn, sleeps 4, <10mins walk to fab dining pub
Our lovingly converted, detached holiday barn is in the grounds of the Victorian Vicarage where we live, on the edge of a rural village. There are fields all around; Glastonbury and Montecute House among many interesting places to visit, a golf course close by and a very popular dining pub within 10mins walk. In a 'vintage-meets-modern' style, the spacious interior mixes antique furniture and original rustic features with brand new beds and luxury soft furnishings; strong wi-fi and a smart TV plus use of our Type1 electric car charger by arrangement.

The last 2 years have been challenging in many ways. This is my family’s first European trip since the Covid lockdown and we were in need of a beautiful and peaceful place to decompress. Staying at the Old Vicarage couldn’t have been more nourishing. The property is beautiful, immaculate and very well appointed. The hosts couldn’t be more helpful and delightful and it’s apparent that they have created their VRBO with great care and love. Apart from that, the village and walking paths make it really easy to wander, there are pubs easily accessible and day trips very close by.; Stonehenge, Glastonbury Tor, the Piet Oudolf garden’s at Hauser Wirth Gallery. If you stay here you will be more than happy as their 4.98 review average attests. We are dreaming of a return. Ellen Salk
I spent just over a week at Melissa and Guy’s beautiful barn conversion. Such a beautiful location & views. Lovely garden. Super well equipped with lovely special welcoming touches. Great place to stay for visiting both Glastonbury & Wells or going down to the coast. Long Sutton is a cute village with a delightful pub. Would love a return visit one day.
