This is our second visit and it is a beautiful place to stay. We enjoyed the walks around the lake and so did our Cockerpoo. We will definitely find time to come again. Thanks Alan and Wendy

The lodge has a truly wonderful view of the lake with the setting sun hitting the veranda when the weather is good. The lounge, kitchen and dining areas work really well and while the bedrooms are small they are perfect for a holiday. Paddleboarding on the lake was the best

Overall experience was great. Perfectly homely lodge, warm, comfortable and clean. Everything you could need was available. Lots of local information on hand too. View was just amazing and the site was very quiet. Could not fault it. Excellent communication from our host too.

It's my third stay in the lodge. Very clean fabulous location. Thought given to household items in the lodge in case you forget anything. Plenty of crockery and kitchen very well equipped. Fabulous views of the lake. Certainly won't be my last visit. Highly recommended 10/10

Exceptional! Fabulous cabin, perfect view over the lake, very clean, full size fridge and freezer and a first class shower and plenty of hot water. Can’t be beaten. It’s in a very safe and quiet location with numerous walks. You won’t be disappointed.

The property is sited near the lake and it's lovely. Quiet and tranquil but we had to use the car to go places which wasn't a major problem. The only disappointment was there's no hot tub but we soon forgot about that. Would definitely go again.

Lovely comfortable, well equipped lodge with amazing views over the lake.Quiet location which suited us and enjoyed the wildlife around us. Keswick close by too. Great weekend and the weather was fantastic.

We had a lovelly Easter stay with our 2 kids and dog. The lodge has everything you need, great views, comfy beds, no hassle check-in.Would love to visit again in summer to make use of the lake.

Beautiful location with great facilities. The heat wave conditions were challenging at the end of the week but without air conditioning this would be the case anywhere. On site EV charging (7kW) available at 65p/kWh July 2026 or ultrarapid at Booths in Keswick at 95p. Nearest Tesla charger at Rheged near Penrith (open to all.)

We had a wonderful time in the lodge and were blessed with the weather for April. The lodge has fabulous views of the lake and was spotlessly clean. A real home from home with everything a family needs and the beds are so comfortable. Excellent communication with the owner. I will most definitely return, highly recommended.

Another fantastic stay! This is our second visit to this lodge and both times have been amazing! Thr hosts ate very quick to return any questions we had and are always accommodating to our needs. The location is fantastic and gives us plenty of places to visit during our stay!
