A wonderful property for our annual family get together. This large, well equipped property was perfect in every respect. The rural location was peaceful and yet close to some superb walks, delightful villages, and the river Thames.

Ideal for intergenerational family party

The property was recommended to us by friends. It worked really well for intergenerational family party of 10 celebrating milestone birthdays. Well kitted out large room for cooking, eating and relaxing with plenty of space. Bedroom corridor separated by door meant it was quiet. Good ensuite bedrooms meant everyone had their own space to retire to when they wished. Excellent outside patio for eating + grassy garden on other side of property with hot tub made a good space for dogs and family to enjoy. Maybe a bench here would be good. Plenty of parking. Enjoyed exploring the local area.

The house was beautiful and was exactly as advertised. The host was exceptional. Communication was clear and kind. Our family gathered and had a wonderful time celebrating my mother's 80th birthday. Ample space for the family and the dog. Clean and well appointed bedrooms and bathrooms. Beautifully maintained property. Clearly well cared for and well managed. Everything we could want with regard to kitchen appliances, utensils, trash bags, details for how to use the house and the surrounding area. We had a wonderful time in a beautiful setting in a fantastic house. Many thanks.

Perfect family weekend

Coppers Barn didn’t just live up to our expectations, it exceeded them. First impressions were very positive - the ease of parking, spacious garden and of course, the hot tub. Once inside, we were even more impressed - the beautiful furnishings, perfect layout of rooms, all bedrooms with en-suites, and convivial kitchen and dining space. It was perfect for three generations of our family getting together for a much anticipated weekend break. We had a wonderful time, full of happiness and laughter and none of us really wanted to leave.

A great weekend in a beautiful property

We stayed in this stunning property for the weekend and we loved it. It is so beautifully presented with gorgeous interior design and the space you need. We loved the main living area as everyone was easily accommodated, with plenty of comfortable seating, so they didn't miss out on the chat/TV or whatever. Each bedroom having an ensuite was fantastic and these were beautifully decorated to match the high standard of the other areas in the house. It's a lovely location to walk out the door in the countryside. There is also a fantastic local pub - The Eagle - a 5 minute walk from the property. We'd definitely recommended this property and intend to book again.

Perfect venue for friends weekend away

Just absolutely perfect for our friends getaway. 6 kingsize bedrooms, all en-suite. The main room was great for us, a very large open area with kitchen, dining and sofas all together. The hot tub just outside was the icing on the cake.

A wonderful group get together

It was such a treat to stay in the barn! It felt very comfortable and luxurious - lovely en suite bathrooms, comfy beds, big comfy sofas and open fire place with wood to burn. We had a wonderful dinner to celebrate my 50th - the kitchen had everything we needed and the ambience was fabulous around the big dining table. We all decided we would love to come again!

Outstanding house with wonderful luxurious furnishings, perfect sociable lounge/kitchen

Extremely well thought out, designed and finished luxury house for 12, everything you need is there and to a very high level. The kitchen, lounge and dining areas are great for sociable groups and (unusually) have easily enough seating for everyone. Bedrooms and bathrooms are to a luxury hotel standard and the hot tub is a welcome bonus in the winter! We had a fabulous weekend - thank you.

Superb venue for family gathering

What a fabulous place to stay for a 3-generation, long weekend, family celebration of an 80th birthday. 6 double bedrooms, all with ensuites made life so much easier for ablutions! The barn was clean, stylishly furnished & everything you needed when self-catering for large numbers was provided, although we did eat out at both the Eagle Tavern (within walking distance) & The Lamb Tavern (Buckland), having excellent meals in both places. (The Lamb has a great "private dining room" which was perfect for an undisturbed family meal.) The hot tub was a great success, even though the booking was during the heatwave!! The stock of board games & books was an added bonus for late night entertainment. The terrace area with tables & chairs was perfect for a summer evening meal outside & the enclosed grass area would be brilliant for energetic children! My only slight downgrading was for "value for money". I did feel it was overpriced despite it being an early July booking in a superb venue (but considering we had to pay £250 extra for the hot tub & 2 dogs....) - Cotswold prices seem to be sky-rocketing year on year. Would we return? Yes, for a special occasion & trying to avoid peak times of the year!

Excellent for family celebration

Accommodation was excellent. Everyone in our family from 9 to 75 enjoyed their stay. The hot tub, trampoline ( our granddaughter can now do a somersault ! ) and games barn were especially popular with all the grandchildren . The only fault for the older family members was the poor lighting in the bedrooms.

A fabulous weekend stay for 3 families

We loved our stay at Copper’s Barn! The layout was absolutely perfect for 3 families. All of the bedrooms had the option of twin or king beds and each had an en-suite. We loved the fact the house was all one level so we didn’t have to worry about the children up and down staircases. The sofa and beds were all super comfortable and everything was great quality throughout. The hot tub was lovely and warm and the outside space would be perfect for Spring / Summer time. Ample parking for the cars and a gate for extra security too. We loved putting the fire on in the evening; a bag of logs was provided and more could be purchased for £15. We loved the decor throughout the house and have struggled to find something so perfect for our next stay together! The customer service throughout from StayCotswold was brilliant. Overall we would highly all recommend staying at Copper’s Barn!

Retirement Party with family

Coppers Barn provided the ideal property for my retirement party with extended family. 9 adults easily accommodated for 4 days. All bedrooms are well equipped with either full walk in showers or proper showers over a bath (which some in our party preferred). The kitchen, dining and lounge areas being completely open plan lend themselves perfectly to entertaining. We had a private chef on the Saturday evening and he commented on how spacious and well appointed the kitchen area was. We included the hot tub as well, which at 38 degrees on a cold, wet November evening, was marvellous. Overall a great weekend in a lovely property and would definitely use it again for any type of family celebrations.

Perfect Easter break

A great house to spend a few days with our children and grandchildren. The house was even nicer than it looked online. Very spacious, very well equipped and six en suite bathrooms for the bedrooms made it extremely comfortable. The garden was a good size and we made good use of the hot tub which was really fun. We didn’t use the outdoor table and chairs but they would be great in the summer. We hope to go back next year for another get together.

A Great Weekend Stay

We were all very pleased with the location of the barn, the directions were easy to follow. The barn is beautifully presented and had everything you could need for your stay. The two smaller twin rooms don’t have hanging space which did present a little difficulty as we were a group of 6 couples. There was a folder which gave you all the information you needed and the owners are an email away if you need help. They are very responsive.
