We chose this property as our quiet retreat after busy days at the Reading Festival and we couldn't be happier with our choice.It has a perfect location (away from busy Reading streets but not too long of a drive) and is close to some local shops and pubs.The lodge is simple, yet cosy and well managed. Very clean and has all the primary amenities we needed.Peaceful setting, lovely hosts and a bargain during the busy festival period.

Perfect log cabin stay!

We spent 2 nights here as attending a wedding nearby. Super communication and Jenny and Greg have thought of everything we may need- even lending us an umbrella. We loved the log cabin and had a very comfortable stay.

Four of us stayed here for two nights when we attended a wedding at the nearby venue, Riverdale Barn. This accommodation was perfect for us, very clean, with everything we needed. Both beds were very comfortable. Our host, Jenny, was super helpful. We loved the giant Redwood outside our window! The wedding venue was only 5 minutes in a taxi. We would all highly recommend.
