The traditional architecture, peaceful streets, and the beautiful Asanogawa River make this district a truly special place to visit. Strolling through its alleys, you can soak in the unique atmosphere of the old tea houses, remnants of a bygone era. Some of them are now converted into museums or craft shops, offering a glimpse into traditional Japanese culture. At sunset, the play of light further enhances the timeless charm of this place.
