Our Holiday Villa is a unique vacation home located on the island of Crete. Stoneville is a wonderful choice for a distinctive vacation stay. The property for rent is situated on the edge of the old traditional village of Prines, 350 meters above sea level, 3 km from the coast, and only 6 km from the center of the old town of Rethymno in Northern Crete.

Crete

We had a little issue in finding the home, the guest was still there waiting for us when we arrived! The home was absolutely perfect! So beautiful both inside and outside!! We attending our son’s wedding, but enjoyed out stay !! Highly recommend this for families and friends to want to hang out and enjoy the beauty!! Five stars!!

Relaxing getaway with a view

My wife and I spent a week at the villa at the end of Sept. and thoroughly enjoyed it. The villa is spacious and has good views of the ocean in the distance. It has everything you need to make your own dinners, something we did most of our stay. The outside space is excellent, and includes a covered seating area with BBQ, although we did not make use of it. The pool was great ! There is a Lidl supermarket back down the hill just off the main road which has most things and there is a very nice little grocery store next to Lidl where they do high end food - especially great feta. The villa is located in a quiet area although there are some neighbours close by. A 5 minute walk down the road and you are in Prines where there are a couple of little eateries and a small shop. We ate at the Olive Wine and Cook House and had a great meal. The owner, Adonis is quite the character and the salesman ! The roof top patio was great in the morning for breakfast and the sunsets in the evening were picturesque. There is also a local butcher within walking distance of the villa, although we didn’t find the selection that good when we went. There is a nice bakery near the bottom of the hill, back toward the main road. The villa is away from the hustle and bustle of Rethymno but close enough to get there in 10 mins by car. We really enjoyed the out the way location of the villa but still in easy reach of everything we needed. We highly recommend the villa for anyone a relaxing time.

Une semaine exceptionnelle

La villa est un véritable havre de bonheur et est encore plus belle que sur les photos de VRBO. Dès l'instant où nous avons franchi la porte, nous avons été éblouis par l'élégance de son aménagement. Chaque recoin respire le raffinement, avec des équipements et des meubles d'une qualité inégalée. Chaque coucher de soleil était un spectacle à couper le souffle. Chaque soir, nous nous sommes laissé emporter par la magie de cette vue panoramique. L’accueil de Eleni était chaleureux et les conseils de restaurants de Giorgos le propriétaire ont été très appréciés. Nous sommes allés plusieurs fois chercher du take out à la taverne Olive (à moins de 300 mètres) tenue par son chaleureux propriétaire Adonis. Cette villa est sans aucun doute un lieu où l'on se sent chez soi et l’expérience unique que nous y avons vécue restera gravée dans notre mémoire.
