Spacious Quiet Country Home With Stunning Views from Private Patio

Air conditioned luxury! This property is a ground level 2000 sq. foot 4 bedroom, one bath apartment with a private entrance in a quiet country setting in our home. Please note this is a private apartment in our home. We live in the upper 2 floors of the house with our furry little companion Rufus (aka Woofie).

The property features stunning views of surrounding mountains and valley's from the large private patio. Enjoy beautiful sunsets and star lite nights. Five minutes from Pebble Creek Ski Area, 30 minutes (20 miles) to Lava Hot Springs and 15 minutes to the amenities in nearby Pocatello, Idaho. Miles of country roads, mountain bike and hiking trails to explore. Great fishing, hunting, rafting and other boating in the area. Easy on and off access to I-15. Plenty of parking for RVs or trailers with pull through driveway to property.

Large open living/dining room with entertainment center, WiFi access, ping pong table and wet bar. Large bathroom with shower and soaker tub. Four fully furnished bedrooms, two with their own desk. Two bedrooms with in-room sinks. Full sized refrigerator/freezer and new washer/drier are available as well. There is a small kitchen in addition to wet bar in the open dining/living room area.

The apartment has it's own private ground level patio for outdoor seating with a gas and small charcoal grill and wood patio fireplace for fun nights out under the stars.

Great base camp within three hours of Yellowstone National Park, Craters of the Moon, Island Park, Shoshone Falls, Sun Valley, Jackson Hole and Salt Lake City. Mere minutes from Pebble Creek Ski Area, Lava Hot Springs,, Fort Hall Casino, The Pocatello Water Park and Zoo, as well as many other local attractions. Fun for the whole family.

Charming home nestled in trees. Paved driveway, so no mud. Kitchen was small for larger meal prep. Area rug under ping pong table was curled on all edges and was a tripping hazard. Suggest it be removed for safer walking. Host was super helpful!

We were there for a wedding at the ski resort. It was a great close place to stay after a day of celebrating. It wasn’t clear that it was a basement apartment although it was very spacious and light. A good time had by all.

The beds were nice and comfortable, it was clean and towels were great. But it was difficult to prepare food; the kitchen is very disjointed, no counter space, no pans big enough to make food for 8 people.

Nice and quiet!

This property was clean and provided everything we needed. We really weren't there much except late evening and overnight and it was nice and quiet, convenient to everything we wanted to see and do. Made friends with one of the cats who would come to greet us every time we drove into the drive - so sweet! Would definitely stay here again!

Family getaway. .

The apartment was just right for our family. The younger members enjoyed the table tennis and we all enjoyed the patio and outdoor swing. It has amazing views of the countryside.

Perfect home base!

We visite the area with our family of six and Penny’s property had everything we needed. She went out of her way to make sure we had all the information and supplies we needed - even calling me a few days ahead of time to let me know there was construction on the way there and how to find an alternate route. Would definitely stay here again.

The Sunset Palace

Gracious host, nice and clean. Pictures when I booked a little deceiving the kitchen is very small no countertops to work with and very little cabinets. Beds were too hard for my liking but a good time.

Private quaint get away

We just had a great weekend with our kids. Even though there is only one bathroom, the two extra sinks in the master and other bedroom really helped. Penny was very accomodating and the board games, dogs and ping pong table were all awesome for the kids. Beautiful area and sunsets!

I grew up in Colorado and moved to Idaho over 30 years ago to work at the nearby Idaho National Laboratory doing analytical chemistry. Over 20 years ago I started my own microbrewery in Pocatello, which has now grow into a full fledged brewpub offering a great selection of beers, wine, lunch, dinner and live music. I basically built my own playground. I love to hike, bike, ski, raft, kayak and canoe. Invite me to do pretty much anything outdoors and I'm there.

Why they chose this property

My property at Pebble is a great base camp. There is easy access on and off I-15 from the Inkom Exit, yet just far enough from the highway to be very quiet. The views of Pebble Creek Ski Area, surrounding mountains and valley are stunning. This is a great property to relax and enjoy the many outdoor adventures to be had in the region.

What makes this property unique

The spacious apartment in my home is clean, quiet and has it's own private ground floor entrance and large pull-through parking area. There is a huge private patio for outdoor seating, evening camp fires and star gazing. You can see the entire milky way at night and sunsets from up here are unparalleled.
