Lovely property in a great location. The shared pool is lovely to cool off in. The nearest beach is not too far away and easy to walk to. A car is needed if you want to explore the surrounding area. We had a great time and would recommend this property.

This is a lovely traditional house with everything you need during your stay. 2 mins walk to the pool and Sussex bar, 5 mins over the road bridge to the boardwalk and beach, and less than 10 mins into town for all your bars, restaurants and shops. Mercadona supermarket is just over 5 mins walk down the hill. We had a lovely 10 days in La Cala de Mijas and will definitely be returning.

Great location! Car not needed and all the amenities that La Cala offer easily walkable. Accommodation was great for our needs and Colm was a brilliant communicator and was able to facilitate a later check out which was so helpful. Pool on site was great and work going on to get the bar and restaurant up and running properly with Christopher having some great ideas!

We have just got back and we had a great time in Colms Property. The house had everything we needed and a very comfortable bed. The walk to the main beach is a bit further than 350 yards but it's a very pleasant walk along the new boardwalk.Couple of good restaurants locally and a pub just at the bottom of the hill. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would go back again. Colin Anderson.

Lovely little townhouse with a courtyard, which I really enjoyed. Handy to everything I needed including the beach. Great airport transfer available. In my case the driver had the keys and took me right to the front door. Return journey ran into heavy traffic but the driver went out of his way to find another route and got me there in good time. Small local supermarket and cafe/bistro I min away. Very reasonable. More upmarket restaurants only a few mns more away. And the village, which has a bigger choice of everything is less than 15 mns walk. Loved it.

We had an issue with the fridge not reaching the correct temperature, this was because it hadn’t been defrosted long enough before being switched back on. This was sorted out though and we were reimbursed for loss of food and inconvenience.Would like to point out that the 2nd bathroom is outside in the courtyard and to get outside you would need to unlock the gates which were very fiddly due to the style of lock fitted. The standard of cleanliness wasn’t the best.Location was perfect

The property was as listed. The weather was not as warm as we would have liked but the heater worked flawlessly. Kitchen was well equipped and it was nice having cleaning supplies so we didn't have to buy them.Colm was very easy to deal with and kept in touch throughout our stay. The only issue for us was no dryer but we had clotheslines and a drying rack. The area is awesome and very easy walk to grocery store, restaurants and town. Loved the area

Perfect family villa and location.

We recently stayed in this beautiful villa, it was perfect for our family of 5. The villa was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was great, with a bar and pool on the complex and a local shop nearby. We were within walking distance to supermarkets, restaurants (recommend the Indian) and the beach which was fantastic. The outdoor bathroom was a bonus and the host was very attentive and communicated with us throughout our stay. We couldn't have asked for more, it was a wonderful experience. Highly recommend this villa for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

We booked this property last minute after being let down. I am very glad we did. Perfect for us, a short walk to the centre of La Cala. The house is lovely , very clean and homely with a lovely little courtyard for outside, Kitchen has everything needed if you wish to cook at home. . We found a short cut to the beach instead of using the overpass which was closed due to the reconstruction of the boardwalk. there is a small underground walkway just past the overpass , only know as we saw someone use it. takes you straight to the beach just past Olivia's .Overall, a great place, and we'll stay if we are in the area again. Thank you

Enjoyable week

The house is lovely. It’s fine for 4 people. We had everything we needed. Small problem with keys to patios. Access to beach and Cala de Mijas town is quite a walk, car is recommended.

Lovely Andalusian House

This is a lovely little Andalusian house in a nice quiet residential area and was great value for money. We really enjoyed our stay there. Very close to the beach and a short walk into La Cala which is a quaint bustling small town with lots of amenities and a lovely beach. There is an excellent bus service from La Cala that will take you to Fuengirola or Marbella very cheaply. For walkers, the beach board-walk is amazing and goes for miles. The house was basic but comfortable and the ceiling fans in the bedrooms and living room were fantastic especially for people like me who hate air conditioning! We would very happily stay there again.

Tbh I wasn’t going to bother replying however unfair reviews should not be let stand without factual correction .You booked in the wrong location ( you freely admitted this to me) and yet somehow it’s our fault how very 2025 of you 😉.Then you proceed to give a bad review score based on your mistake /error which is NOT very fair at all. The other 10 reviews from people /families from all over the world state that they liked the location accuracy of the listing ( can be checked all the reviews like/agree listing location is accurate except yours )maybe all of these other people are wrong . Our advert on web site clearly states the house 🏠 is very close to Masala Indian restaurant ,streets of London pub/restaurant , Sussex Bar and restaurant Ole and less than 400 metres from the beach 🏖️ .A simple web search on maps confirms that this is true .Thank you for liking the cleanliness of the house and our communication with you we always strive to be helpful to our guests pre ,during and post stay as the other reviews also confirm.

Colm is a fantastic host, very responsive to messages and provides lots of information about the house and surrounding area. Airport transfers can be arranged and the driver brings the key for the house - perfect for us as we arrived at midnight! The house is very homely with everything you could need, clean and well presented (the bedding and towels smell divine!) Outside space is limited but the pool area is a short walk away through a beautiful little complex of similar houses and loungers are provided to take with you. There is parking outside the house if you hire a car and a 10 minute walk into La Cala for bars. restaurants and supermarkets. Colm also allowed us a late check out as he had a gap between bookings, which was much appreciated. Highly recommend this property, we had the perfect week away.

Nice place to have a relaxing holidays

We were going to a festival that was hosted in Cala Mijas, so we wanted a place to stay near there. The location was good, a quite neighbourhood were you can rest when you want and spend some time in the pool and the bars/restaurants of the zone. We arrived in the afternoon and we picked the keys easily following the instructions that were given to us. The house was nice and perfect for people that were staying. The only thing that we didn't like is that the cleaning prior to our arrive could've been better, per example some towels were dirty and not taken care of, but apart from that detail the rest was good. The kitchen was well equipped, the TV and the roof ventilators worked well, and the bedrooms were nice. We were adverted that the bathrooms could get clogged, but we didn't have any incidents of that sort in our stay. TL;DR: nice place to stay, and good price-quality ratio given the zone you're staying in.

Nice and cosy house. Place is enough for 6 people. One room with a two persons bed. And a room with a two one persons bed. Also a nice living room with a foldable two persons bed. We stayed with three people, two adults and a child. Both of the sleeping rooms had airco, which was very nice in the end of august. You got a patio where you can sit, a bbq, also the second bathroom is there. In one of the sleeping rooms you have acces to a balcony where you can easily sit with two or three people. You can park your car in front of the house what is very nice for groceries and everything else. You got a shared pool area what was private, only people with a key got acces to it. Beach on walk distance, 15 minutes. Same distance you can get a drink, get some food or buy stuff for the beach, bakery, tattoo shop, coffee. Very cute town with a lot of places to eat. And most of them serve good food. We had a lovely stay.

The accommodation was as described. It was very clean and had all you needed to arrive and start your vacation. Very clean bedding and towels. Air conditioning in the bedrooms along with ceiling fans enabled a great nights sleep. The kitchen was very well fitted out ready to cook meals or just snacks.Within a very short walk is a lovely swimming pool and the Sussex bar to relax with drinks. We had no requirement for parking but it is available. We arranged through the owner Colm to have a taxi meet us at the airport and also on the return. The service was very good and a good price.Finally like thank Colm who is very easy to contact and is willing to answer any questions you may have. A lovely place stay.
