Located down a quiet dead end road, the two apartments are located to the side of the owners house. We stayed in the top floor apartment, which had beautiful views down the valley and across the owners fields and garden. Most mornings we were entertained by watching horses being exercised around a track, to the side of the house, followed by the owners on a Quad bike! We made good use of the Vale Trail leaflets provided by the owners, exploring the nearby coast and countryside. With Cardiff right on the doorstep and Caerphilly nearby, as well as Dyffryn Gardens and St Fagans National Museum of History there is lots to do. We stayed 10 nights but could have stayed much longer. Unlike the previous review we found the beds comfortable. The owners were friendly, welcoming and kindly returned forgotten property, without question.
