Holiday at the farm

It was a very spacious property with nice furniture and facilities. The owners were nice to talk to and explained all the points of usage With our own gate fob we were able to come and go how we wanted We expect to return

Glossom's Lodge is a quiet location on a horse farm.

Glossom's Lodge is a quiet location on a horse farm. The accommodation has all you could require. The kitchen especially being one of the best equipped we have been in. The owners are very helpful and friendly. There are pubs and restaurants all within a short drive away. All in all it's a very pleasant place to stay.

Two week stay near Melton Mowbray

The Lodge is a well proportioned accommodation and has all the facilities you require. The owners are extremely pleasant and helpful. The Lodge is ideal for dog owners. Being a distance from the road it is a peaceful place and there are great views all round the property. For anyone with mobility issues it is all on ground level. All in all a great place to stay. We would happily return.

This lodge is close to the lovely village of Scalford and around 3 miles from Melton Mowbray.

This lodge is close to the lovely village of Scalford and around 3 miles from Melton Mowbray. Great base for walking the Melton Way which ends at Scalford (easy to book at uber to reach the start of the walk near Buckminster). Lodge has a patio table with lovely views of the garden and rolling hills beyond. The propery is clean, roomy and well provided for in terms of cutlery, cups, glasses and cooking utensils etc. Wine and biscuits as a welcome gift was a nice touch. Visited Belvoir castle which is 20 minutes drive away and a must for lovers of history art and gardens.
