This beautifully renovated Victorian town house is perfectly located for a memorable short break or holiday exploring the picturesque Suffolk Coast, home to a range of attractions providing history and heritage, literature and music, outdoor pursuits, local food and drink.
Victoria Cottage has all the charm you would expect with original features blended with contemporary furnishings, fixtures and fittings throughout. The cosy sitting room sits at the front of this self-catering cottage, lead
Ground Floor
The front door of this mid terrace cottage opens into the cosy living room with open fire and door into the kitchen/dining room at the back with dining table and chairs, an additional easy chair and door to the garden. The stylish kitchen's well equipped for catering at home.
Bathroom
Beautifully tiled modern bathroom. The claw foot bath has a shower over, there's a window giving natural light, basin in a vanity unit for your belongings and a WC.
Upstairs
The carpeted stairs are typically steep being a period cottage so beware, there is a handrail to steady you.
Single bedroom
Overlooking the garden, this quaint room is carpeted and has a full sized wrought iron day bed with a trundle which can be made up for you (be sure to request it at booking) however it does make the room a bit tight so best for children only. There's a shallow built in cupboard with space for clothes.
Double
Sitting at the front of the cottage. The double wrought iron bed takes pride of place in this charming room with large rug covering the wooden floor, bedside cabinet and wardrobe.
WC
Ideally located between the two bedrooms, with WC and wash basin.
Garden
Stretching from a small patio area with a circular table and two metal chairs, together with a sunshade and two extra plastic chairs which can be moved to the Summerhouse. The Summerhouse is a great place for a bit of peace and quiet. Small children should be aware of the big step and not left to play alone.
Please note that a well behaved small/medium dog is welcome to stay at Victoria Cottage, however they are not allowed upstairs or on the furniture. Please make sure that you remove any of their mess in the garden before departing.
