Earnside Cottage is a peaceful riverside retreat in the heart of Comrie, Perthshire, overlooking the River Earn. This traditional cottage has been thoughtfully updated to create a bright, welcoming space, ideal for families or small groups.

The comfortable living room features two sofas and a television with Freeview. A separate dining room seats six and leads through to a modern, fully equipped kitchen for self catering.

There are three bedrooms: one king and two twin rooms, one with an en suite shower room. The main family bathroom has a shower over the bath.

Outside, enjoy a neat, enclosed garden and uninterrupted river views from the front of the property. Private parking is available for two cars. Comrie`s shops, cafés and restaurants are close by, with Perthshire`s glens, hills and rivers on the doorstep for walking and exploring.

The house was very spacious and had a lovely back garden to relax in, it was clean but has a few stains around that need dealt with. Unfortunately we were not aware of the construction of the flood wall outside the house and the restrictions to the river area which was what had drawn me to the property, i felt this should have been communicated as the pictures on the website are not up to date as to how the front area of the house currently looks. Otherwise had a lovely few days in Comrie .

Lovely stay

We loved the house for our weekend trip to Comrie. House was really nice and had great facilities. Check in etc was very smooth and the location was great. Would definitely stay again.

Great stay

We had a good stay at Earnside Cittage. Very warm and well equipped. Comrie is always great for a week away and we had a good restful week.

Family Christmas

We enjoyed a very comfortable stay in this warm spacious riverside home in Comrie. It is well located for walks with the dog and easy access to shops and restaurants. Having several bath/shower rooms and two living room areas made sharing with extended family and our dog relaxed and easy.

Very nice cottage

We had a nice, comfortable stay at Earnside Cottage. We are a family of four and the cottage was very spacious and relaxing for us. Easy check-in. Nice village. We had two very good dinners at the Melville Restaurant, part of The Royal Hotel and a short walk from the cottage. Also had lunches at the nice cafes nearby.

Comrie is perfect

We couldn't have been more comfortable! Perfectly lovely quiet cottage with comfortable beds and plenty of room for 5 of us. Very short walk to all the village shops...literally around the corner. If you don't choose Earnside in Comrie you are missing the best of Scotland.

The house was warm, v well maintained, and comfortable. There was plenty of space for spreading out. The kitchen was fairly well-equipped - we couldn't find a frying pan. The river view was more of a muddy car parking space with chain link fencing: construction work for new flood defences, but presumably the view will be restored reasonably soon.

Earnside Cottage

The house was very clean, generally in good condition and very handy for Comrie. We were disappointed not to receive Check-In details automatically from yourselves. We had to chase you up for these on our day of our arrival and it was not easy to contact your office. The situation was made worse as when we stayed at this property 2 years ago the Lockbox code had not worked and as we could not contact your office we went to a neighbour who happened to have a spare key. We had then got into the property and the Manual had another phone number which transpired to be the actual owner. This poor lady's husband had just died which made us feel bad that we had rung the number. When we didn't get Check-in details this time we envisaged similar complications which is not what you are wanting at the start of a two day break.

Lovely Riverside Cottage

We had a lovely weekend in Earnside Cottage. The rooms were all of a good size and the cottage had all the amenities needed. The cottage was lovely and warm too. It was in a really good position, just off the main street and facing the River Earn and made a great base from which to explore the local area.
