We are in Umbria, but very close to Tuscany. Villa Gosparini is located there, overlooking Lake Trasimeno, surrounded by greenery, nature, silence, and peace. From its elevation of 700 metres above sea level, it overlooks not only the lake but also the entire valley surrounded by hills, creating a one-of-a-kind landscape.
It’s the ideal place for a relaxing getaway, but also an excellent starting point for exploring the countless cities of art, history, culture, and gastronomy that surround it.
It is a classic Umbrian/Tuscan farmhouse from the middle of the last century, completely renovated yet still retaining its authentic character, its colours, and its beautiful “Serena” stone.
The villa features 7 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. On the ground floor, there are two lounge areas with spacious sofas, each featuring its own fireplace, as well as a TV and reading room, and finally, a large dining room. All these rooms open onto the enormous terrace, from which you can admire the entire valley, with the lake and its islands at its centre. There is also a large, fully equipped kitchen-dining area.
From the ground floor, you can reach the ground floor, where you’ll find 5 spacious bedrooms, each with a window offering a direct view of the magnificent landscape; one of the 5 also has a lovely little balcony where you can admire stunning sunsets. Rounding out the sleeping area is a smaller bedroom with a French bed, also featuring its own private bathroom.
The seventh bedroom is on the ground floor; it’s very spacious, with a sitting area and direct access to the terrace. It also has its own private bathroom.
A convenient internal staircase leads downstairs to a loggia with arches and comfortable seating for relaxation. But it’s just a few steps to the sun deck, fully equipped with umbrellas and lounge chairs, and then to the large, spacious pool, surrounded by stone pavers and a lawn, all in a panoramic setting.
