Loved 3 night stay

Lovely lodge, very warm inside. Great Hot Tub. Nice and comfey. Did find that the door lock was hard to open and lock again. Very strange ways had to be used. The TV was very limited with what was available to watch. Most channels would just display that a subscription was required.

We loved the peaceful setting and the considered driving of the vast majority of drivers around the site. Access was good to all areas of the norfolk & suffok coast.

Lovely Stay before the Bank Holiday

Had a chance to play the Golf course too which was really nice. Was in good condition considering how dry it has been. Very friendly in the proshop and in the barn where the food is excellent. They kindly let me do the back 9 on Sunday morning before a hearty roast! Many Thanks

Quiet location with everything you need for a UK break

Really great setup, very child friendly. A nice location to explore Norwich and the surrounding area Leave more towels, slightly frustrating we didn't have enough for one each including our child.

Hot tub was great and very warm. Restaurant on site is also excellent and very friendly. In all a good trip if a little uncomfortable at night. Only one slight negative, the beds are not comfortable.

Great chalet, lovely and warm in a chilly December.

Great chalet, lovely and warm in a chilly December. Kitchen has everything you need. The bar and restaurant were open in site, which was great. Very peaceful and sitting in the hot tub in the snow was amazing! One small thing - take your own towels if you like them nice and big!

Fabulous place to stay, everything that we needed was provided. Lovely and peaceful and near to everything. Lovely touch of a bottle of Prosecco and hot drinks including milk. Only thing that needs improving is the 2 single bed mattresses that were really uncomfortable so a couple of us ended up with a bad back. If these are replaced couldn’t be any better

A little gem

The whole property was spotless and had everything we needed. We went in November and it was lovely and warm. The hot tub was brilliant. My partner was particularly impressed that the hair dryer had a diffuser. Lovely surroundings and the pool/spa on site was a 30 second walk away. The towels were a little small, we had to go out and buy our own. Also, the frying pans had seen better days. Again, we went out and bought a new one for ourselves.

Great spot for a bank holiday weekend.

All kitchen items and utensils spot on. Comfy beds. Easy check in. Hot tub was great. Comfy lounge area upstairs though apart from the Saturday we were sitting out on the lovely terrace. The club house by the golf course does fantastic food and had a great carvery there on the Sunday. Very friendly. Nice pool though needs to be bigger and open a little longer. Even at opening time with only a few in made for a crowded swim. Beckles is a lovely trip and recommend the pub on the way just before the lights at the bridge. Great spot right by the river food looked great. Hope to return for another break. Many Thanks

Area of lodge Peacefulness Golf The front door does not free shut so had to use the rear entrance or leave the front door wide open or locked. No tin opener , sink upstairs plug was jammed but is ok now as we fixed it and also toilet seat needed fixing. Would benefit from tv down stairs.

4/10 Poor

Disappointing and Dirty

Nice location, good golf course and friendly staff The house was not very clean, hob was especially dirty and the ensuite bathroom was disgusting. If we had been in a hotel we&#39d have asked to change rooms. The master bedroom : only had 1 opening window as the other one was broken, mattress did not fit the bed frame and there was no wardrobeanywhere to hang any clothes. We had to hang stuff on a washing line, no TV in the master but there was a TV in the second room but with single beds we dis nor want to sleep in there
