nice rooms in a quiet location

We had a really nice stay at the flat in Moerkerke and would definitely recommend it to others who want to visit Bruges and the area around it. The host is super nice, the flat is clean and cozy and had everything we needed for our 5 days there. You can also easily and quickly get to Bruges (~15 min) or even Ghent (45-50 min). It also has a nice garden you can use and parking is right next to the house.

Loved our time

What a cute old home..with a story and history! We loved chatting w family, who we met. A nice party in the garden. No, you won't be cooking a meal here but your dishes are washed for you. What a lovely atmosphere here.

Nicole is a wonderful Hostess. The check-in, stay and check-out went very smoothly. The studio room was clean, very well maintained a great starting point for visiting the local area. Nicole also has good tips about the surrounding area. There is a nice big garden to sit and relax in. Hopefully, I will return next year and stay a little longer. The stay (wish it could have been longer) was really nice. Everything from check-in, stay and check-out went very smoothly. The owner, Nicole, is amazing and she is doing her utmost best to ensure that everything is perfect for us as guests. We arrived quite late in the evening, and Nicole has prepared food and drinks for us for the evening as well as the next morning. All in all this is a wonderful cottage to stay, away from the crowds and very rural in nature. We will for sure stay again here. Many thanks, Nicole, you are a wonderful hostess!

Le logement de Nicole se trouve dans une belle campagne. L'endroit est calme et reposant, tout en se situant à 15 minutes en voiture de Bruges, où Nicole nous a indiqué un parking facilement accessible depuis notre route d'arrivée.Le logement est ravissant, agréable et très propre. Il y a un très joli jardin, très calme. Nicole nous a accueilli très chaleureusement. Elle a été à l'écoute de nos besoins et nous a bien conseillé. A notre arrivée, nous avions dans le frigo largement de quoi prendre notre petit-déjeuner le lendemain matin (pain, fromage, yaourts...). Nous avons apprécié cette délicate attention.La gentillesse de Nicole et la qualité de son logement ont rendu notre séjour chez elle très agréable. Nous recommandons cet hôte.

Gastenkamer Nicole

We waren er 3 nachten. De gastenkamer is niet groot, maar wel erg knus. Het bed is heel goed! De verdere uitrusting is uitstekend! Daarnaast heeft de gastvrouw allerlei etenswaren voor gebruik klaarliggen. De plek is een prima uitgangsbasis voor bezoekjes naar o.a. Brugge en Knokke-Heist.

Gastvrij, relaxed en mooi gelegen.

1-6 september 2023 Gedurende 5 dagen verbleven wij in de gastenkamer van Nicole. Een kamer met een heerlijk bed, een klein maar comfortabel woongedeelte, grote badkamer en eigen toilet. Dit in het voormalig woonhuis/boerderij van de ouders van Nicole gelegen in Moerkerke. Rustig gelegen tussen de akkers en weilanden. Bij aankomst was onze koelkast goed gevuld, met fruit, vleeswaren, kaas, yoghurt en brood voor de eerste ochtend. Bij het huis een heerlijke tuin vol met bloemen, bijen en vlinders en zitjes voor het uitkiezen. Onze charmante gastvrouw Nicole sprankelt van positiviteit en is zeer actief en gastvrij voor haar gasten. Een uitstekend uitgangspunt, deze gastenkamer, voor mooie fietstochten, tripjes naar Brugge, gent, Damme, Sluis, de kust en het strand en zoveel meer. We hebben overal heerlijk gegeten en genoten van het platteland in België en Nederland. Piet en Paula
