Beautiful location surrounded by greenery, peaceful and quiet.Everything you need within 10 minutes.Great family holiday for 5 adults and 5 children. AMAZING!

The perfect summer holiday

Absolutely loved our stay here. The Villa has everything you need. We were a family of 5 and it was perfect for everyone, even a grumpy teenage boy! We didn’t hire a car and it was fine, we walked to various places nearby. There is plenty to see in a week just in the local area. The surrounding areas are beautiful, we completely fell in love with the place. Manuel was the perfect host. Communicated really well and was really accommodating. We can’t wait to go back.

Superb villa and lovely quiet location

Just returned from a fabulous 2 weeks in this villa. It is perfect for 2 families as there is the main house with 2 bedrooms and a separate house with a further 2 bedrooms. The pool was a great size as was the hot tub. It was hard to drag ourselves away from the pool and villa but when we did there is lots to see. Villa Praia d'Ancora has an amazing large sandy beach and the town has lots of good restaurants. We also visited Porto, Braga and Ponte de Lima which were all beautiful. Manuel is a great host and was happy to help during our stay and reacted very quickly to any request. The kitchen is very well equiped for a group of 8 and plenty of room to all sit together outside. All in all a great place to stay and would definitely recommend.

Wonderful 2 week stay

We just returned from a wonderful two weeks at this property. It is in a lovely, scenic, private location while also being nearby to local town/beach. We were two families of 4 and were surprised to find that the property was two buildings, not one, but this did not cause any problems. It is worth noting that one bedroom (with bunk beds) in is separate annex, therefore to secure this at night we had to rely on our young children being able to operate the key lock, which wasn’t ideal, but would be fine for older children/adults. The villas were really clean and well equipped with table football / games, a lovely warm pool and hot tub, loads of kitchen appliances and tv’s with hdmi ports. The garden is large, well kept and not overlooked at all. There is no air conditioning in any of the buildings but we were only hot on a couple of nights as the properties kept fairly cool. There was one fan available to use if needed. Thank you to Manuel who was a great host. He met us at the property on arrival and kept the pool and hot tub clean throughout the stay. He was very helpful and friendly. We would definitely recommend this property for a family stay. Our favourite memory is sitting out at night watching the many shooting stars.

El anfitrión (Manuel) muy amable en todo momento.A destacar: La casa muy bonita con todo lo necesario. La piscina estupenda para bañarse hasta lloviendo, estufa que calienta toda la estancia principal y las demás estancias con calefacción.Contras: Camino para entrar muy estrecho, muy complicado con furgoneta. Y la casa ahora en Diciembre tiene mucha humedad había que poner deshumidificador por la noche.En verano se disfruta muchísimo más.

Obrigado, Alejandro pelo comentário. De facto os autocarros passam com dificuldade. Contudo, os carros ligeiros entram muito bem na propriedade. Sim, no inverno convém ligar o desumidificador, sobretudo sendo mais de 10 pessoas a usar o duche quente. Na verdade a piscina está todo ano a 30 graus e o jacuzi também é sempre muito apreciado. Die Unterkunft ist super geeignet für zwei Parteien, da es zwei verschiedene Häuser auf dem Grundstück gibt. Größtes Manko ist der Holzbelag rund um den Pool und die Terrassen. Hier sollten zwingend Schuhe getragen werden, da man sich barfuß Holzsplitter einfängt. Ansonsten ein schönes großes familienfreundliches Grundstück mit viel Spielzeug ausgestattet.

Thank you, Matias, for your feedback. Actually, the deck around the heated pool is new, and we chose wood for thermal comfort, as it doesn't get as hot in the sun, and for its aesthetic appeal. It reduces slipping in wet areas and provides a feeling of warmth and closeness to nature. However, we'll take your suggestion and sand down any spots where there may be irregularities. Muito romântico

Obrigado, manuel. A estadia foi fantástica. A casa é muito romântica, e está muito bem equipada e perto de tudo. Achamo-la ainda melhor que as fotos. As crianças adoraram estar na piscina quente e ao mesmo tempo a chover. Foi surreal. O jacuzzi quentinho também foi muito agradável, agora em Novembro. Voltaremos com certeza. João
