About this property
Quiet Berkeley Bungalow
This pleasant bungalow near downtown Berkeley is located on a quiet street and can accommodate up to four guests if two of them use the queen size fold out sofa in the room off the kitchen.
The remodeled kitchen is a nice place to enjoy meals and linger over coffee or a glass of wine. The claw foot bath tub has been replaced with a walk in shower that includes hand rails. On a warm day you can have lunch at the picnic table in the garden.
Since this is my primary residence, I only rent it when I travel.

About the host
Hosted by Cathy Nyhan
Hi, I am a retired librarian who enjoys travel, mainly to Italy where my sister lives in Florence. In addition to Tuscany, I am particularly in love with the island of Sardinia.
I also like to work with my hands and make art quilts, love to bake and cook meals for friends, go wine tasting, swim, read and see films. This past couple of year I have learned how to brew my own beer.
I have stayed in some wonderful homes in my travels so try to replicate these positive experiences as a host.
