Had a fabulous stay at Robins Nest, the property was well equipped and situated in a beautiful tranquil garden. The balcony afforded many a relaxing hour admiring the view whist sipping a G&T. Nearby Lewes was fun to explore and both Sheffield Park and the Bluebell railway very close by.

Hi Sheila,
Great to meet you both. We think you hold the record for the most hours of sunshine in any one week.
Hope we meet again. Kind regards Robin and Christine.
Robin’s Nest, furnished comprehensively, is the most comforting “therapeutic” cottage I have ever holidayed in which suited my particular circumstances perfectly.Set in the gorgeous Sussex countryside in wonderful picturesque surrounds but yet in close proximity to local places of interest. It was overseen by the delightful, helpful, willing and affable owners Robin and Christine for whom nothing was ever too much trouble. Perfect.

Alan,
It was truly an absolute joy to have you stay at Robins Rest, we live in hope that we may meet up again. Keep well. Kind regards and very best wishes. Robin and Christine.
Robins Nest is an idyllic place to stay, located in East Sussex countryside, near Barcombe village. The kitchen had everything in it to be a fully functioning kitchen, and if needed, local amenities were available a short drive away should you want to eat out or food shop. The bedroom was on the ground floor, which was a bonus during this hot period as it kept cool. The upstairs had an external balcony which was a lovely place to sit and eat breakfast, whilst watching the menagerie of birds who live in the gardens (and the garden is available to use should you want to sit in the shade and enjoy the peace and quiet). And a special mention should be made of the hosts (Robin and Christine) - they are a wonderful couple, who have a lovely home and buildings to rent out. It was a pleasure to meet them. Highly recommended, a great place to stay, away from the hustle and bustle of towns and cities.
