The cottage was obviously renovated with love. Everything was fresh and bright. Downside was the sketchy places next door. Nothing Colleen can control. Was disappointed in the view but the park and lake was very close and lovely.

It has everything!

This was our second visit of the summer because we enjoyed the quiet area, the well-equipped, nicely decorated, and clean cabin with relaxing outdoor options on site and across the street at the beautiful park and beach. We patronized the local restaurants and we liked the easy drive to Port Huron and Ft. Gratiot.

The cottage was WONDERFUL. Exactly as pictured/described. Very clean, new, fully furnished with everything we needed. Check-in was a breeze, host was very nice and easy to contact via VRBO. Clean property, well-appointed in a convenient location with nice park and beach across the street. Parking in front of property, great outdoor amenities. Free wi-fi, YouTube TV (although we non-techies couldn't figure it out 😅), and DVD player. Everything needed for a comfortable stay. Have already booked a return visit. Highly recommend! 👍👍
