Idyllic hideaway

If you're looking for a quiet spot to get away from it all, then this is the place for you. The Coorie is spotlessly clean, has everything you need, and is in a great location for exploring Galloway Forest Park.

Glentrool

The property is well positioned with walks from the doorstep. The Coorie is warm, cosy, and clean.

Five stars

This is the first review where I’ve given an excellent rating for every category. We really having a peaceful day then going on a walk for a couple hours hours the next day. Lots to see and do in the surrounding area.

The Coorie

This is a great single floor cottage with superb disabled access. The beds were comfy and linens/towels lovely. The kitchen sink was dirty when we arrived, and we had to wash some of the plates and cups. Otherwise it was spotlessly clean. Perfect for a trip to Galloway. Thank you

Coorie Short stay

Overall everything was good. We had 2 small dogs, that we had payed for. But there were no dog beds provided, as it said there would be. Also there was no linen basket to put towels in. This was not a problem.

Many thanks for your for review, we have followed up on the linen basket and the dog beds not being in the property and this was an oversight. The payment for your dogs are not for the dog beds but to cover the extra cleaning.

Average quality stay

Pros: Beautiful location. Scotland is a true gem, loved the nature and wish to return many times. Kitchen equipment in good condition. Easy to cook whatever you want. Cons: Glentrool Hive staff /visitors extremely noisy at 7am on Saturday. We came for peace and quiet. Ridiculous check-out time at 10am. We have not had chance to sleep after a working week. Apart from that: Worn-out mattress in the master bedroom Worn-out mattress on sofa bed Bed sheet with stains One kitchen towel One toilet roll for 5 people for over 2 days Plates with previous visitors' stuck-on food leftovers One rubbish bin bag Slippery decking
