Good place to stay for the Ironman. Steps/deck leading into it were a bit unkept/boards falling off so be careful there. Unit was nice and was cool during a heat wave. Hard to get a hold of hosts through app but they were right downstairs if we needed anything. Tikki bar is a must!
We enjoyed our stay on Seneca Lake and the hospitality provided by the Stivers added to the experience. We visited numerous sites in and around Geneva including museums in Seneca Falls, local restaurants and wineries, great hiking locations.

Liked: Cleanliness, location
Disliked: Communication
A nice little getaway
My spouse and I booked this marina apartment for an extended weekend in early August. We were a bit disappointed by the lack of Communication from the property management between the time of booking (May) and our trip, especially as the arrival date approached. There was limited information given directly from VRBO about the check in process and the management team wasn't answering our emails thru the website. I did eventually get a hold of Casey via the telephone number listed a few days out. She quickly apologized and explained their procedure. Upon arrival, we met Bob, the Marina and property owner. He was a laid back and kind man. He explained that the external stairs leading to the apartment were "rickety", but said we would not be disappointed once upstairs in the apartment. Also, he explained that the advertising for dinner at the Crows nest is incorrect. That restaurant isn't opened any more. So once we scaled those weather beaten stairs into the apartment, we had to turn on the air conditioner once inside (it wasn't on in preparation of our arrival), we did settled in nicely! The place is cozy and clean. The bed was comfortable and the bedroom was surprisingly quiet being over such a busy marina and Tiki bar! We took advantage of complimentary drinks at the bar, a free narrated boat tour and could have used kayaks or paddle boards for free, but ran out of time. For such a busy place, with being short handed for staff, we felt a great deal of hospitality from them! Thank you Bob, Casey, Emma and Andrew! It was a pleasure to have met you and we look forward to staying with you again......just fix those stairs ....lol!
Easy checkin with host. House refreshingly cleaned. AC that was COLD, and how wonderful during days it was 88 and sunny. Quiet. Full kitchen to provide place to prepare your own meals. Set of towels and wash cloths provided in bathroom for two people. Close to Ironman Village where my husband participated in Musselman 70.3, this location was 2.5 miles away. Also this is location of Finger Lakes Visitors Center with lovely views of Seneca Lake, great bike / walking paths. Safe environment both in the rental and all activities within five mile radius where we spent countless hours strolling. Dined at Italian eatery ( Cosentino's) and found the fresh haddock-broiled to be best ever. Actually went back 2nd night to reorder again. Many pubs in 3 mile radius of rental. The rental house is just few miles from many wineries, less than ten miles to Seneca Falls, ck out the many museums, we ate at the Diner. Ten miles away you will find Wildlife refuge and can easily see Bald Eagles along the highway on your way to Refuge. Wegmans in short 4 mile drive.
We took our own Kayaks. My husband enjoyed many hours fishing. After reading the description of the rental we anticipated eating at the Crow's Nest near the rental. It seemed to have high reviews. Sadly its been closed for a long time. You can find other eateries nearby. Would recommend this rental to a friend.
Loved our stay. The apartment is located at an amazing spot with views of the marina, sunset and a tiki bar. Bob made the check in process super easy. The apartment was well kept and true to the pictures. We were hosted in the tiki bar which was super nice. We also got 2 nights of live performance during our stay.
The listing did say free kayaking which we weren’t given.
Overall, will recommend.
Property is well represented in the pictures. Had everything we needed in the kitchen for a comfortable stay. Lake and tiki bar were great.
Would Recommend some lamps in the bedroom and living space.
Really great service and amazing location! Definitely a 5 star across the board from us!

Great Finger Lakes getaway at Geneva Marina!
The marina apartment was perfect for a couple to enjoy the Finger Lakes. The location was conveniently situated near Geneva so we had access to the amenities of town nearby when we wanted them. We were to wine touring and exploring up and down Seneca, Cayuga, and Keuka Lakes. The property was clean, recently renovated, and had all the comforts of home you would want. The kitchen had room for any of the supplies you could buy at Wegman's and allowed for home cooked meals if you prefer. The decor was well suited to the Marina. We loved looking out the windows at the sailboats. We enjoyed usage of kayaks and drinks at the Tiki Bar as well. The hosts were welcoming and friendly. We recommend staying here.

Cute & laid back
My 2 sons & I had a mini vacation here and we thoroughly enjoyed. We canoed to the state park where they played on the playgrounds and the splash park. We took a day and went hiking, we went to a state park beach another day. Great location with pretty easy access to a lot of different things to do. The sunset cruise was great, really enjoyed our meal at the Crow's Nest too! The apartment was a super cute place to come back and crash. Bob and Donna are so lovely as well. Hope to be back again!
