We stayed on Magazine St for a month long visit to New Orleans. Was a great location to explore the city. Very quiet, comfortable and much to do and see in the neighborhood. Were able to walk or take the city bus to downtown and the French Quarter.
We were in town to attend a conference. The convention center was conveniently located as were several restaurants. The WWII museum was a short walk and a “must see.” We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and stay.
We loved our stay! The property was nice and it’s in a great location. Jules is super responsive and sent lots of detailed check in information and things to do during our stay. Would recommend!
We enjoyed our stay and time in NOLA. The townhouse was just as described and the hosts were very accommodating and helpful with questions about the area. We would definitely recommend or stay at the townhouse again.
Loved staying her, it's your own mini home in NOLA. You feel like you belong here. Everything you could need in a small package. Will come back again. Nice neighborhood too.
Loved this cozy apartment in walking distance to a lot of cute shops and restaurants.
Owners were so gracious and would def stay again.
There are lots of steps, so make sure your party is mobile.
The bedroom is at the entrance of the hallway so you may hear some hall noise and the hall lights do come through, but I just switched them off when we went to sleep.
Overall, a great place.
The apartment is charming and the neighborhood is excellent. I walked to the WW2 Museum easily. The St. Charles streetcar is also an easy stroll. I had a fab lunch at the Bower next door and Magazine St. is a long fun place to explore. The host, Jules, was great, It was perfect for me, but if you have issues with steps, there is a set of stairs to get to the second floor.
Talk about the perfect quintessential NOLA stay…….THIS is it! Having lived only 1.5 miles further down on Magazine just four years ago; it was such a joy to discover how amazing this area has become in such a short period of time. The apartment was not only in a perfect location but also tastefully decorated/equipped. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE everything about this place and hoping to make it my only go-to everytime I visit NOLA! Thank you!
This property is very convenient to all the attractions that one would want to see while in New Orleans. Also very clean and comfortable. Check in/out was super easy. I would definitely stay again.
This is a great location for visiting New Orleans. 4 blocks from WW 2 museum, 6 blocks from streetcar. 2 excellent restaurants within 1/2 block.
The apartment fit all our needs and was supplied with basics. Its still a work in progress but feels historical. Contact with hostess was easy and quick.
We would highly recommend this.
We had a lovely 5-night stay in the Library. Fair warning to those with aging knees like us - when the reviews say “expect some steps”, this is a second floor unit and there is a fairly steep, twenty step staircase. We found that we generally only went out once or twice and spent most of the day out, so that didn’t affect us as much as we thought it might… The area was nice, fairly quiet, but with some really good restaurants (try Surreys for breakfast - you won’t be sorry)! The rental was comfortable with a small but fully stocked kitchen, plentiful hot water, and a good bed. The only thing we found lacking was a few more pieces of furniture - a bench at the end of the bed to put our suitcase on and an ottoman in the living room to rest our aching feet would have been nice. Would definitely stay again, though!
This location was just as represented on line. It was in a perfect location for all our needs while we were there. Got to meet Jules who was very pleasant. We would stay again.
The property is well located- easy walk to the Street car or to several local neighborhood restaurants and shops. The Apartment is clean and the perfect size for our family of 3. Jules was super with communication and accommodating our arrival and departure. Will definitely rent here again!
We were fortunate to book this space in the Lower Garden District in NOLA. We love the city and the charm of the railroad apartments and this one was no exception. Clean lines, simple furniture, well lit, in an historical area that is now a hot spot. Who Knew??? It's location is perfect. Close to the French Quarter, A downtown area of art and galleries, restaurants etc and a few doors from our entrance are other new restaurants and venues. So it was so easy...and we were too comfortable. Our hosts were BEYOND!!!! We sent our itinerary and they made suggestions for sights and dining that were excellent. We luckily had an opportunity to meet in person, and we just connected. Thank you J&B for EVERYTHING.
