We stayed here Friday to Sunday. It was amazing. The weather helped. Lovely hosts and the dog really loved having the freedom. Walks were lush and the pub at the end of the street had lush food too. Thank you to Sally and Simon

The lodge is a lovely location for a quiet break away from the world. It is super dog friendly and has lots of walking routes on it’s doorstep. The hosts were considerate and friendly.

Very relaxing spending time in open space. We didn't have great weather when we were there but we still were able to spend time outside on the veranda which was quite spacious. Great value for money, nice and tranquil

This place is amazing.Everything you need and the peace and tranquility makes this the perfect place.our two border collies absolutely loved the free space to run around and I think they enjoyed it as much as we did.Host was very nice and friendly and explained everything so we had no worries. What a dream stay!! It was amazing, the hosts were so lovely and accommodating, it was our first stay of 2026 and it did not disappoint! Would definitely recommend coming here, the lodge it’s self was so comfortable and cute, had great peace and quiet.There’s nothing to fault, will definitely recommend to others and would love to come back!

We arrived a little late, but host Sally was waiting for us. Showed us where everything was & if we needed anything she was there but would respect our privacy. The cabin was lovely in a beautiful setting. You have everything you need for a comfortable stay. It was all spotlessly clean. Very peaceful & just what you need to recharge your batteries. I'm sure we will revisit at some point.

We had a fantastic time, sally and simon are friendly hosts, the location is great and check in was easy! Our dog cub got to play with the resident dogs and chickens, alongside free roam of a secure garden he has just as fun a holiday as we did!

It is a little bit of paradise, Our host Sally made us very welcome. The thought and detail that had gone into our accommodation was outstanding. It is private but accessible to everything you need …… we will be back and if you have a dog it is perfect as they are made as welcome.

Perfect little getaway!

What an absolute hidden gem of a place, so peaceful and quiet, perfectly done so that you feel like your rural camping but with all the little luxuries that you could want, so much land for the dog to explore, and a 5 minute walk from a lovely pub (the boat inn) The host Sally could not have been more lovely, I would recommend this place in a heartbeat and hope to be back again soon!

We were looking for a peaceful location for a much needed break, this property was unique, extremely comfortable and the surroundings were beautiful. The host was lovely and so friendly, made us feel very welcome and kindly asked us to help ourselves to some of the lovely apples from the orchard. The local pub, the Boat Inn was so good we ate there both nights we stayed, would highly recommend and would definitely return

A huge thank you to Simon and Sally for our wonderful break away this weekend.From booking to saying goodbye, everything was seamless.The lodge was so quaint and cosy, the setting was simply breathtaking and the local areas were perfect for walking our furry friends. This is as serene as breaks get, an acre of land within an orchard, watching our two dogs explore nature completely uninterrupted, lighting an outdoor fire in the evening with a cheeky glass of wine and simply spending quality time together.I have a feeling this is going to be a regular booking for us!

My partner and I stayed here for two nights. Sally and Simon were wonderful hosts, made us feel very welcome. The cabin itself was beautiful and peaceful with everything we could want. We will definitely be booking again!

Lovely serene location with great pub on corner of the road. Great for dogs - they loved the freedom, although Maureen (our naughty JRT) did find a way out through some rabbit holes! We’ll be back x

Cabin is very comfortable. Sally (host) could not do enough to help. Location is excellent next to the river and canal boats. Good local pubs too and dogs are welcome.

Bramley orchard

Me my partner and our dog had the best time at the Bramley orchard. It was so easy and we had everything we needed to have a great time. Sally and Simon were lovely and just left us to enjoy ourselves making sure we had everything. Highly recommend staying here!

Excellent

Last minute booking absolutely beautiful, tranquil location for an overnight stay. My husband and I enjoyed everything the log cabin had to offer and facilities were perfect. The hosts Sally & Simon plus their doggy friends were exceptionally welcoming. We will definitely return, hopefully in the winter to experience the winter wonderland with the cosy log burner 😍
