Our beautiful and cozy apartment is located in the famous Las Lagunillas neighborhood, Málaga’s Arts District, and the very area where Pablo Ruiz Picasso was born. You’ll be amazed as you walk through the streets, discovering incredible murals and graffiti created by local artists, full of messages of expression, parody, and affection for popular figures of Málaga. It’s not New York—it’s Málaga! 😉

The apartment is simple but functional, perfect for short stays. It has everything you need for a comfortable visit: air conditioning, fully equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, and a modern décor with original touches.

Important:

Don’t expect luxury or views of the Cathedral. The neighborhood is undergoing renovation, and you may encounter buildings under construction. Still, the location is its best feature, as it’s close to all the main points of interest in the city. The area is safe, although it has a humble, working-class character and can occasionally appear marginal. We recommend considering this if you seek total tranquility or hotel-level standards. You won’t need a car, but if you do, we suggest Parking Atlántidaor Parking La Merced, as street parking in the center can be tricky (but not impossible).

⭐ To receive your location 🕹️, arrival instructions ✅ and key codes 🔑, you must complete the guest registration form 👮‍♂️. We recommend doing this as soon as possible to avoid stress upon arrival:

This is mandatory in hotels and tourist accommodations in Spain. All data is sent directly to the Spanish Security Forces. CLEF Málaga acts only as the online data manager. When you make your reservation, you will receive a link to share with all guests. Each person must complete their registration in 4 simple steps:

1.1 👩‍💻 Fill in personal information using your ID or passport.

1.2 📸 Take front and back photos of your ID document.

1.3 🤳 For security purposes, guests may take a selfie holding their ID or passport. This image will be automatically deleted once verified.

1.4 ✍️ Sign the registration form and contract.

⭐ Additionally, if your reservation is made through a platform other than Airbnb, you must pay a damage deposit 👩‍💻🏦, which will be refunded after check-out (within a maximum of 7 days) once everything has been checked. ⭐

Request the secure payment link or our bank details to make a transfer. Please send proof of payment by email 📧 with the subject “Deposit + your reservation number”, or through the platform’s message service.

Please inform us of your arrival and departure times⏰🚕 to avoid delays. CLEF Málaga requires guests to communicate their estimated arrival time at least 48 hours in advance. We also need to know your expected check-out time (no later than 11:00 a.m.).

🧹🧼 Extra cleaning during your stay: includes sheet and towel change. The fee will be the same as the final cleaning stated in your booking.

🚬 Smoking is not allowed inside the property. If you smoke outside, please do not throw cigarette butts out the window. Damage to a neighbor’s awning could lead to a claim.

🐶 Pets are not allowed unless expressly authorized. If permission is granted, an additional fee per pet and stay will apply.

🗣️ No visitors are allowed.

Construction noise or external works: The property is located in a building shared with other owners. Unexpected works or noise from neighbors are beyond our control and CLEF Málaga cannot be held responsible.

Linen and laundry: All sheets and towels are professionally washed, dried, and ironed in an industrial laundry, guaranteeing 100% cleanliness and hygiene. High-quality products are used and washed at over 60°C. Please note that certain stains may appear due to chemical reactions between cosmetics (tanning creams, makeup, etc.) and detergents (active oxygen, bleach, etc.).

Reservation modifications: Changes are accepted within the free cancellation period, subject to availability.

Office hours: CLEF Málaga’s office is open Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.On weekends, our team handles urgent matters and issues related to your stay. For administrative questions, please contact us during office hours.

Very good location

The architecture of the building means that there’s virtually no sound proofing between apartments. In winter, it’s just about ok, but in summer it will be really noisy I think. The residents above us ( family with small children) sounded as if they were in our apartment. The owners are very strict about keeping noise to a minimum, but you can’t do anything about the other residents. That said, it’s clean and comfortable and in a terrific location for sightseeing and places to eat in the old city.

We left as this was a complete misrepresentation of the photos online. Cracked stairs . Garbage dump in front . 2 bedrooms not 3. Third floor not first . There was an outdoor space separating rooms with a tent with mold . The air quality was suffocating and unbreathable . People were climbing walls in front to do graffiti . Did not feel healthy or safe . We have a case number but no one got back to us yet , however sent email to review .
