Lovely Stay. Plan to Return

The Shannon Castle Stay was wonderful. The location was perfect, and the cottages were just the right size for me and my family to travel throughout Ireland or just stay and relax. We plan to go back when we return to Ireland.

Excellent, quaint off the beaten path property

Our stay was great, excellent hosts, roads are very narrow getting there but that was a big part of the fun. Wonderful views, great little place to stay for myself, my wife and young 20s daughter, would highly recommend. If you want a quiet little place to relax and do not mind the ride you will not regret it

Paul was wonderful! Very clean and welcoming place. We were surprised to see dolphins on our first day! Definitely a highlight of our trip.

Cozy place right at the sea

Beautiful and quiet location, nice and very helpful host, cozy rooms, highlight was the fireplace, parking right at the door Thanks for the great time and the familiary hospitality! Bathroom was a bit "old", shower curtain would be good.

A great experience to stay in these more than 300 year old soldier-cottages, close to the water set in a remarkable scenic surrounding. The warm and friendly atmosphere from both nature and created by the owners were greatly appreciated. Although the internet was sometimes a little sluggish, all other amenities where well up to mark. We would love to come back here another time to enjoy the peace and quiet a little more.

Lovely

Great and quiet place in a lovely setting. Everything in reach within a short drive. Daytrips to Galway, Limerick, Cork, Ring of Kerry, Dingle Peninsula, Cliffs of Moher ... coming back to a cosy place right at the water. Anytime again. Thanks Anne and Paul for the warm welcome and enjoyable stay!
