Private parking for 2 cars, additional on-road parking. No smoking.. Cathwill is a beautifully presented detached cottage that is perfect for couples or families looking for a picturesque mountain break. Two bedrooms include comfortable double beds, then a third bedroom with a single bed, ideal for a good night’s sleep after a day hiking in the Cairngorms. The kitchen is well-equipped and features everything you need to cook a hearty meal or sit around the dining table with a delicious takeaway from the local restaurants.
The centre of Newtonmore is just a few minutes walk away and offers great shopping and dining out facilities. Enjoy this fantastic location bustling with surrounding things to see and do. Newtonmore has several shops, pubs, and two excellent, award-winning museums - the Highland Folk Museum and Clan MacPherson Museum. Newtonmore’s Wildcat Trail is a popular 7-mile circular walk around the edge of the village, taking in the River Spey with woodland, moorland and wonderful views across the valley to the Cairngorms, and behind the village to the Monadhliath Mountains - a fitting introduction to the delights of the National Park. For younger visitors, the Folk Park, the Wildlife Park at Kincraig, Landmark at Carrbridge and the steam railway are all outstanding local attractions.
