Perfect Cozy Cottage

The Ranch Cottage was the perfect place for us. We were able to visit historic houses and cities on our trip while also enjoying our quiet and relaxing nights at the cottage. I would stay there again without any hesitation. We loved our stay.

A beautiful property that was let down by a few things. The mixer tap configuration downstairs was leaking with water spilling down the back of the shaped bath causing an unpleasant damp smell, the fridge and freezer combo under stairs was not fitting correctly and there was a broken shelf in the fridge. the soft furnishing smelt of dog and I removed most of the cushions and blankets downstairs for the duration of our stay. The key entry system was very hit and miss despite following the written instructions but did eventually lock. The lovely balcony was littered with dead tree vegetation and the table and chairs could do with a refresh. The extractor fans were not working in bathrooms. With a little more care this lovely home could be stunning

This is a lovely, quiet place to stay that feels secluded but was close to everything. Get acquainted with European appliances before you go. And there were some things that we needed i.e. napkins and kitchen roll that weren't provided. Gorgeously appointed, but be aware there's only one shower in two bathrooms.

Perfect home away from home

We all absolutely loved Ranch House and its very quiet and pleasing surroundings. We were away most of the time but were always looking forward to coming 'home' in the evening. Its hard to find any possible improvement except perhaps the minor problem of making coffee the way we are used to, which is a simple coffee 'drip' machine that uses paper filters. Even a plastic filter holder would suffice. Other than that ten out of ten. I would certainly choose this house again. Thank you very much!

Cottage und Lage sind perfekt

Es ist ein super schönes Cottage. Man ist in kurzer Zeit in Aberdeen. Daher ist auch die Lage super.
