The National Trust's Cragside House and Gardens lie to the west, and the Heritage Coast's miles of pristine beaches are only a short drive to the east. Just 11 miles to the north is the historic town of Alnwick, which is well worth a visit for its beautiful Castle and Garden. This fantastic home base is perfect for exploring Northumberland or taking a break, and it's conveniently located near the stunning National Park.
