About the host
Hosted by Ana Isabel Garcia Moreno

I am a teacher of traditional Mexican cuisine and have operated La Villa Bonita Mexican Culinary Vacation since 2001, introducing guests from around the world to the joys of authentic Mexican food and culture. I have been featured on the Food Network, ABC, Fodor's Travel, Vogue Magazine and Bon Appetit.
Why they chose this property
We love Tepoztlan. It is not only a beautiful setting in the mountains but a wonderful traditional village that has stubbornly resisted the changes that come with time. We chose Tepoztlan as a great place to raise our kids and for our guests at La Villa Bonita. We chose this property because it is located on a circuit up on the side of the mountain away from the hum of the downtown but close enough to be able to walk (10 minutes). We love Tepoztlan because it is safe, fun, authentic, artistic, and beautiful. The property is primarily used for our award-winning culinary vacations but we offer the whole house when not used for that purpose.
What makes this property unique
We have a full staff that maintains the house, cleans the rooms, cooks your breakfast and assists you in the kitchen to find the things you need. It is a huge benefit as you will know where everything is, know how everything works, have a wonderful full Mexican breakfast with a new dish every morning, all in a property that was created to receive up to 12 guests. It is a great property for family gatherings. The view from the open air kitchen and the elevated dining terrace is stunning.
