An excellent base for exploring Saint Andrews and Fife. If you like wild swimming you'll not be disappointed. The tidal swimming pool is very handy to the property and there are lots of small beaches to enjoy locally.
Perfect location for exploring Coastal Path villages. Cottage was clean with everything required and more, only thing i missed was a sunny outside space to sit with a book but took my coffee to a seafront bench nearby(there is outdoor seating but it was in the shade in september)Would recommend
I picked the property because it had a small.outside courtyard but on arrival a door in hall had been locked and no access to rear. Website doesnt show courtyard anymore so can t confirm my memory House very clean and nice touches were gift bags for dogs and milk in fridge

Hello,
Thanks for your comments, There is not a courtyard at Dooker's Nook nor has there ever been one advertised I'm afraid. The locked door in the hallway is the cleaners cupboard for storing linen etc. There is seating to the front of the property and the beach and harbourfront is just a few steps away.
We're glad you found the property to be clean and welcoming. Best wishes, Pittenweem Properties team
Nice little cottage, everything great,Although due to hot weather, an issue with heat in family room, even with fan on the temperature was too high for toddler, min 22 to a high 27/29 degs. Would have helped if a pole supplied to open window at top of stairs. Or a different fan. This is not a complaint, but a recommendation for warmer weather.
