Beautiful short walk to White Cliffs of Ashleam

Our family enjoyed our stay at this very sweet property on Achill Island. After spending a few days in Dublin, the quiet of Achill Island was just wonderful, Catherine is a wonderful host sending us loads of information prior to our arrival. Our teenagers loved watching the sheep roam around outside of the property gates and we loved the short walk to the White Cliffs of Ashleam every evening. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't as we hoped, but still the island is absolutely beautiful. The guidebook left helped with finding close restaurants and great things to visit. Definitely would recommend Catherine's house for families that enjoy the space or large groups!

Beautiful home in a spectacular location.

This is a very modern property with great sleeping capacity. The beds and furnishings are very comfortable. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with everything you need to prepare meals and even do some baking, which we did. Our two children and their grandmother all got their own rooms. We gave my mother the en-suite and she was extremely happy with that. There are two other bathrooms so no shortage. There is HD television, however we made little use of that. Too busy enjoying the incredible island.

Hi Joe We are so glad your family enjoyed your stay in our house. It is very nice to hear your views. Since your visit we have installed WiFi and the HD TV has YouTube on it and Netflix which you can sign into your account. We are very much like you, we hardly ever put the TV on. My daughter is pleased you did some baking as she insisted we had the equipment available. Once again thank you and you are welcome anytime as there is always more to see in Achill. Située sur la partie la plus sauvage de l’île on se sent comme à la maison chez Catherine. Nous avons passé de très bons moments en famille avec des promenades des marches et des découvertes.
