Relax! Enjoy your own private heritage home and spacious, landscaped yard. Feel at home on your sunny south facing deck, cook a meal on the BBQ, and spend your evenings around the back yard fire pit.
The entire home has been renovated and retains original character. Main floor flows nicely with kitchen, living room and dining room that opens onto the deck. Fully equipped kitchen has all the modern conveniences, and many ways to brew a pot of tea!
Upstairs you will find both bedrooms and a full bathroom. Master bedroom has a queen bed, large closets and an office enclave with built in library. Second bedroom also has a queen bed, closet & dresser. Bright bathroom features a soaker tub, separate shower & fluffy towels. Perfect for two couples or a family vacation.
Full HD cable, 48" TV, DVD player and wifi are included. There is also a portable DVD player upstairs. Full size washer & dryer in the basement. For those looking to unplug, we also have board games & bocce ball set. Private driveway with room for 2-3 vehicles.
Nestled in Hubbards Cove, you can stroll to the grocery store, liquor store, pizzeria, pharmacy and the Hubbards Barn Association, home of the Hubbards Saturday Market.
Across the street from the award winning Trellis Cafe restaurant.
Seek out The Shore Club for their famous Saturday nights - 4 minute drive there, and a 30 minute stumble home.
Queensland Beach - just a 7 minute drive.
Aspotagan Trail - 6 minute walk to the start of the trail.
Golfing - over five golf courses within an hour drive.

Very clean, well stocked, comfortable cottage. Friendly accommodating greeter with lots of valuable advise about the area.Fairly centrally located to Halifax, Mahone Bay, Lunenburg and Peggys Cove along the tourist route.Stunning scenery throughout the area.We really enjoyed our visit to Nova Scotia. A truly beautiful province, would highly recommend a visit.Concerns : a bit of early traffic noise and BBQ was in need of replacement, otherwise a really comfortable stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!! The house had everything we needed. The deck provided a sunny but shaded place to relax after a day of cycling on the nearby rail trail. We also enjoyed all the local themed artwork found throughout the house.

We loved our stay. The house had everything we needed and more. It was very comfortable and had lots of character. It was very clean and communication with the caretaker and owner was very easy. Hubbards was an easy drive to all of our stops. Lunnenberg, Bay of Fundy and Halifax. We would definitely stay again.

Great cottage with all the amenities. Beautifully decorated and so comfortable to stay there. We were able to sit outside on warm evenings and in the morning before breakfast on the deck and sit in the very comfortable lounge. We would come again to stay!

Not the hosts fault at all but there was a lot of construction on the road in front of the house and also construction, which was very loud, in the back of the house. Made sitting on the back deck impossible. Things to think about if I was the host: a hose like faucet in the bath tub, a second air conditioning unit on the second floor, update to flooring in the kitchen where tiles are broken. Overall a charming home.

Terrific Stay

We had a fantastic stay at the Little House in Hubbards. The house is very nicely equipped. Situated about half way between Halifax and Lunenburg, it is perfectly located to explore the region.
