There was no towel rail in the bathroom to hang hand or bath towels which was a bit weird.

There was no towel rail in the bathroom to hang hand or bath towels which was a bit weird. The bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable and plenty of wardrobe space etc. The kitchen was ok, I’m glad I took foil because I wouldn’t have put my food on any of the oven trays, they had been cleaned but really needed to be replaced. In need of a decent chopping board and for a small price, a dishwasher would have helped make it the ‘luxury’ lodge it was described as, there was plenty of space to add one. A vacuum and a mop would have helped keep the lodge clean and tidy. The outdoor space was nice but the chairs rather uncomfortable, just a few cushions would have made all the difference. The sofa was very low which made it a little uncomfortable but it was ok. So to summarise, this was a lovely lodge in a lovely location but with a bit of attention to detail could easily have been amazing! Even with the ‘minor’ issues, we would definitely return.
