Region: Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Town: At the mouth of the River Teifi on the pristine west Wales coast, St Dogmaels is an enigmatic, serene community that has been around for centuries. It is peacefully centred around its ruined abbey. One of its highlights is Y Felin, one of just two operational watermills in Wales that still uses the original equipment from 1820. The mill is believed to have been created by the monks of the St. Dogmaels Abbey in the 12th century. The miller demonstrates how it operates, and you can buy bread, flour, and cakes there. You may also go next to the Coach House Café for tea, cakes, and light meals. Every Tuesday, a highly regarded local product market is held here; it is definitely worth a visit. A bar, a fish and chip shop, a post office, a cafe and a small museum near the abbey are all located in the settlement. A lovely green and a millpond with ducks are also nearby. It's only a little over a mile to the lovely, historic market town of Cardigan. At the foot of Cardigan Bay, this historic village is located on the River Teifi's estuary. A flourishing culture of arts and crafts, events, and music festivals are set against the nostalgic backdrop of its unspoiled townscape and historic legacy. The magnificent Poppit Sands is close by, where you can unwind on sunny days or take energising walks in the cooler months while also discovering the stunning Pembrokeshire Coast Path. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path, which spans 186 miles from St. Dogmaels to Amroth, begins or ends in St. Dogmaels. Visit the fascinating Shire Horse Farm to witness how farming was done before machines, or go to Castell Henllys, the Iron Age Fort where everyone is encouraged to learn about the prehistoric way of life. Regular sightings of the Cardigan Bay dolphins are possible off the bay, and Cardigan Bay energetic offers more energetic activities including coasteering, wildlife excursions, and surfing. This is the ideal vacation spot all year round because there are lovely coastal, riverbank, and rural walks nearby, as well as a variety of other beaches and attractions.
